The Mission EMOD Frame is the foundation of the Mission EMOD system, providing a rigid, durable, and modular platform for mission-specific load carriage. It allows operators to configure their packs to meet precise operational requirements, whether carrying breaching tools, trauma kits, or sustained mission gear. The frame is designed to integrate comfortably with body armor and adapt to any operational environment.

The frame is fully compatible with the Mission ARC, Mission Extensions, Mission Wings, and the Mission Ruck, enabling users to scale capacity and tailor their loadout to mission demands. Additional modular components like the Mission Lid, Mission Load Panel, Tactical Scabbard, and Rip-Away Medical Pouches attach directly to the frame, creating a fully integrated, mission-ready system.

An adjustable harness and padded back panel ensure comfort under load, while multiple attachment points support rapid reconfiguration as mission requirements change. The frame is lined with MOLLE webbing and features #10 YKK zipper attachment points, allowing seamless integration with the Mission Assault Pack, Mission Medic Pack, and other MOLLE-compatible accessories.

Military Use Case
For military operations, the Mission EMOD Frame supports task-driven loadouts for breaching, sustainment, casualty care, and precision equipment. It maintains stability and balance during mounted or foot-mobile operations and enables secure carry of rifles, tripods, optics, and observation gear for direct-action or sniper missions.

Law Enforcement Use Case
For law enforcement, the frame provides a modular platform for tactical response, vehicle-based deployment, and sustained callouts. It supports the integration of medical, breaching, and communications gear while maintaining low-profile load carriage and rapid access in high-stress scenarios.

Know Before You Buy

Mission EMOD Frame

Questions, Answered.

What is the Mission EMOD Frame designed for
It is the foundation of the Mission EMOD system, letting you buy into one platform and customize the kit by swapping packs, accessory wings, and pouches as missions change.
How is the Mission EMOD Frame contoured
The Mission EMOD Frame is contoured to accommodate a plate carrier. Every part of the frame was designed for a user wearing armor.
What hip belt does the Mission EMOD Frame use
The Mission EMOD Frame uses a smaller hip belt to improve performance and comfort when paired with a plate carrier and a pistol belt. With the smaller hip belt, you have complete access to all of your gear. The hip belt sits comfortably against the body, can be folded and buckled out of the way, and stays clear of drop pouches and the plate carrier itself. It features a pull-forward design so you can tighten or release one-handed while keeping your other hand on a rifle.
What shoulder harness does the Mission EMOD Frame use
The shoulder harness is similar to our standard harness with a sternum strap and standard load lifters. It is fixed to the frame with air mesh padding to provide airflow and breathability.
How do packs attach to the Mission EMOD Frame
There are two ways to attach a pack to the Mission EMOD Frame. The frame uses both zippers and buckles, similar to the Hunt EMOD system. You can zip a pack on, buckle a pack on, or both. To achieve the maximum possible compression, you should use both methods together. The key difference is that the zippers run from the bottom up, so the pack's weight won't pull the zippers apart on its own. Zip the Assault Pack or Medic Pack directly to the frame, then run the buckles for a second layer of compression.
Can I attach scabbards or other accessories to the Mission EMOD Frame
Yes. The front of the frame is fully covered in MOLLE webbing. This accepts tearaway medic pouches, our scabbard options, and any MOLLE-compatible gear or accessories.
What modular components are part of the Mission EMOD system
The two largest components are the Mission Medic Pack and the Mission Assault Pack. Both can attach to the frame or be carried independently using their own shoulder straps. The system also includes accessory wings, similar to the Batwings on the hunting side, that add volume or compress a rifle or tripod against the side of the pack. Tearaway medical pouches are available in small and large. The top lid and load panel work together at the top and bottom of the pack.
What is the value of the modular system
Mission requirements change. You can take a pack off and hand it to a teammate, add medical gear if needed, or slim the profile down for working in tight vehicle spaces like a Blackhawk or an armored vehicle. The system gives you control over what you carry on any given day.

Customers praised this lightweight, versatile frame for its "outstanding build quality" and exceptional comfort. Most found it "way more comfortable" than military-issued rucks with excellent load distribution. However, some noted setup challenges and adjustability issues with straps riding too high. Concerns about heavy loads and plastic clips were mentioned.

  • Outstanding build quality, very lightweight, and very versatile.
  • The ergonomics helps avoid lower back pain on long hikes.
  • This is the most comfortable frame I've ever used.

Does it's job great, but struggles under heavy load.

I've gotten the chance to REALLY beat on this and use the heck out of it over the last month while hiking and shooting and when paired with the Mission Assault Pack it holds up and fits nicely, feeling surprisingly comfortable. The materials and frame feel durable which has withstood the frequent training I've been doing out in the desert/forest areas here in Utah. Recently I had used this setup to pack out some targets, a 20 gauge, and bag of ammo for 2 miles on the back of a dirt bike and I noticed it would dig into the bottom of my torso and my shoulders pretty badly, enough so that I was stuck with an annoying amount of pain in my lumbar the day after. Having an option to upgrade the shoulder straps and hip belt would drastically improve this product by allowing people to load more weight onto it.

Great pack frame

I bought this frame to ruck with. I have 60 lbs of steel plates attached and it’s solid. I have put a bunch of miles on this thing already, with some significant elevation changes, and it is a great piece of gear. I will definitely be purchasing a pack to attach to it for use during hunting season! I highly recommend.

Way more comfortable than my ruck and will keep gear extremely stable when hooked up

One of the biggest pains ive ever had with a eberlestock pack system trying to set it up with my mission pack. its a solid product but it is not designed or unintentionally designed not to be swapped around often.

Nice frame

Fits pretty good, nice and light. The shoulder adjustments could be a little better, but it's a great pairing with the assault pack.
Update: loaded this bad Larry up to do a scout for an upcoming hunt. Walked around for a good 6 hours and it was nothing. Everything felt great, great load distribution, and changing the configuration on the fly was very easy. Updated to 5 stars.

Have the accessories attached, waiting to get the assault pack in multicam. Other than that was exactly what I was looking for.

Great for an all around pack

Great quality and very versatile if you get the whole system to fill multiple roles. Would love to see a different optional hip belt for when the pack is not being used with plates.

Its an Alyse Pack Frame...

This is the most overpriced Alice Pack frame money can buy. There's nothing new here. Its comfortable...? It has clips, and zippers, and buckle points. Don't get me wrong, its a good base, but its also trying to be to many things. Also, I don't like trusting plastic clips in MAJOR load baring locations. Stuff happens. Clips break. Would take my old Alice straps if you really need the ability to rapidly don or dof this that quickly. Belt clip = OK. Shoulder strap clip, NO. That's one of those, tell me you haven't logged the lbs, miles, or years with a pack on your back to be designing this type of equipment. Single biggest letdown of the whole Mission setup I purchased.

Mission emod frame

Light weight and strong, paired perfect with mission assult bag. It's modularity is fantastic. It's weakness is It's adjustability, the waist belt and chest straps ride too high and can't be adjusted enough to fit.

EMOD Frame

Frame is legit, heavy duty and pretty comfortable to carry a rifle with. My issues is not with the product but the shipping team. This thing was left at my door step and the box was practically ripped to shreds, hardly any tape on the flimsy box it came in, and no packing slip or anything. I’m aware some stuff gets roughed up a bit during transit but damn it didn’t even look like there was any effort on trying to secure the package to begin with. Shipping and handling atleast initially from HQ needs to be tightened up.

An excellent and modern take on the classic allice pack concept

This is a great frame and worth every penny to me. The small profile and modular capabilities are what makes this different than a lot of frames out there and was the main reason I picked it up. While it works best with the native EMOD packs, the rows of MOLLE webbing make it easy to set up pouches, flat packs, and accessories. The only downside for me is the lack of padding but this was an intentional design feature since it allows the frame to better integrate with plate carriers.

Fire but kind of expensive for what it is. This is exactly what I was looking for and I'm glad I found it.

Would be nice if the bags were also velcro lined. But perfect other then that!

Very flexible frame

I was bought this frame and assault pack. The quality is top notch. The frame provide multiple connection points that allow to config the pack to your need. If i have to clean up the frame, i think i need to record video when remove straps from aluminum frame.

A must have with either of the mission packs

I’ve had the mission assault pack since Christmas and love it. Good amount of space and comfortable to wear. I got the mission frame during the spring sale and it the best money I have ever spent on a pack upgrade. Sits on your back perfectly straps are nice and padded. I daily haul 2-3 gallons of water, food for a 12 hour shift plus the odds and ends needed on the daily. The frame makes that weight easy to carry.

15/10 this is a must have if you own the mission assault or mission medic pack.

Built like a tank

Its much smaller in person than the reviews and pictures show and for that I am glad. My normal 3 day pack size runs 40-50L. This has the ability to run from 20-70 with all kinds of addon bags beside, above and behind the main bag. It could be a perfect European travel pack for those travelling in the many countries where escalators and elevators dont exist or are well hidden.
With the zippers, straps, attachment points, and PALS webbing theres nothing this frame cant do.

Mission EMOD

What a great frame, used the frame as a base for mounting a large dry bag too and it works perfectly. Tons of attachment points, sturdy material and really comfortable for the weight. The modular system is something I didn't think I would find in the backpack world, but I'm so glad I stumbled across this system. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to build a customized system off of this frame, or use one of the many packs that quickly attach to this frame.
