There must be a hundred different ways a person could use this bag. It’s my range bag. I took 3 bags & after sorting & organizing everything was in this bag & a little was in a tote. It’s made all my range trips much more pleasant as this helps keep me organized. Much more fun shooting than trying to remember where you put something.

I liked the idea of this. I always look for something with versatility. I was looking specifically for something I could put my plate carrier in and go out training. I live in super liberal state, and although I should "normalize" and acclimate my neighbors sensitivity, for now I am just looking for something as incognito as possible to get all my training gear out of the house.
Look, the bottom line is this is a fantastic bag, it just doesn't fit the purpose I was hoping for. And the bottom is in the very small side. You can probably fit a good 3-4 normal size pistols in it, or 2 magnum sized pistols. Or one extremely short barreled rifle upper /lower taken down.
Now besides the size mine had a weird quirk where the plastic stiffener "frames" on the ends, the one just wouldn't fit right. It was folded and crammed inside and buckled. I think the bag was sewn slightly out of spec/shape. I took them both out and compared sizes. The plastic sheets were the same exact size. I swapped them, still had the issue where it would fold over taking up additional volume. I trimmed about .250" of the one side and it fits like it should. Not a huge deal but still. For the price I paid on sale, it's NOT a complaint it's a observation.

look the bottom line is although not perfect. And not ideal for what I was hoping, for the price paid its a great bag. I wish more bag makers would make more incognito gear bags for getting out and training. This bag is extremely well setup and handy so I will be keeping it.
I do with the deciders had more rigidity and back bone. But the softer dividers do allow ALOT of adjustment. So as always there's compromise.
If the bag was the size I was looking for it would have gotten 5 stars. That's the main reason for 3 stars. Typical Eberlestock quality.. 'Nuff said!

I actually purchased a Bang Bang range bag last summer already from a Canadian store and I absolutely am thrilled with it! This is why I ordered another one now that I’ve got an account at your (Eberlestock) store.
These bags are indestructible and are absolutely amazing for carrying all a guys range gear, the compartmentalization is second to none, yet there’s no wasted space.
Your gear and equipment is absolutely worth the cost, it’s actually worth more than the cost!!!

I picked up a bang bang and I has honestly replaced 3 other bags I used to take for a competition. I can now carry everything I need minus my rifle in this one singular bag. The build quality par none and I know it will last years. My primary and backup pistols fit in the under compartment with foam, belt attaches around the large side straps, ears, eyes, mags, ammo, tools, batteries, qls removed holsters, glow sticks, snacks & a small ifak all fit with space left over. I do wish the foam was pluck simply because it’s a pain to cut without a hot knife.

No bag meets all of your requirements. Life is the trade off process and this bag represents the fewest trade offs for me. Great quality and damn near bullet proof.

This is my second one and I highly recomend them. Buy once cry once or twice if you need two or more.

I especially love the little details, like the small tucked to the sides pistol pouches by the larger mag pouches, there’s more compartments than I originally thought and I am beyond pleased with the quality and design! 🏆

Loaded up with everything for a range trip or loaded up as a grab n go bag it supports the weight well and has room to spare. Great quality

Can't say enough about my Shooting Bag. It was sold out every time I tried purchasing it and now that I have it, I see why. All of my shooting gear fits in the bag (ie. eyes, ears, ammo, cleaning tools) which has made it so much easier to head out to the range. The bag can take a beating too. I've already recommended it to a few of my brothers. Semper.

There are definitely some things that I like about this bag. There's also a few things I would change and a few things that are missing.
I love the hard bottom. Hands down the best feature. Having to undo the front straps to be able to get into the main compartment is not ideal. If they attached below the main zipper that would be very helpful. With all of the Molle they should sell accessories specifically for the bag. Not having a velcro patch for morale badges or a flag patch was a miss. Also, no dedicated pouches for the three things we all carry to the range. Magazines, ear and eye protection. Yes there is plenty of room to find a place for them and the movable compartments are a nice feature.

Used the bang bang bag now for two NRL matches and love it. Holds what I need it to and items easy to find when I’m looking for them.

I use the bag as a patrol / daily carry that hops between my patrol car and my truck. It checks the boxes of everything I needed. It is sturdy, and has plenty of room for small and midsize items. All the items in the main middle compartment can be very organized with the included divider panels which can be sized to your liking. Everything from my fix it stix tool kit, to my IFAK and more has it’s own perfect fit. Makes my OCD feel warm and tingly. Side compartments fit additional tools and gear and have very well placed administrative pockets for further organization. The molle webbing works great and I’ve added additional exterior pouches, further customizing and expanding payload. I recommend buying the foam kit for custom fit storage in the basement compartment. It works perfect to fit full sized handguns, multiple magazines, a winkler field knife in sheath, and still has leftover room for more. Bag is awesome !

You have to put your hands on one to see how much better it is than anything else.

I have been looking for a new range bag for sometime and, after much research, I settled on trying out the R1 Bang Bang Range Bag from Eberlestock. First, it is hands down the best BAG I own let alone my range bag. The construction is top notch, the thought put into the different compartments/arrangement of the bag is superior; I love taking it to the range. The day I received my bag I tricked it out with all my range gear and took it for it’s first run to try it out and I was very happy with it. The bottom compartment is great for storing my targets and putting it on the ground w/out thinking about damaging anything. The inner adjustable dividers allow me to store my gear, keep it organized, and adjust if needed for different routines at the range. I strapped my IFAK to the MOLLE on the outside for quick access. Very happy with my new range bag I may have to purchase another one for my camera gear for work. Thank you Eberlestock!

It's made from quality materials and great customizable Velcro on the inside, honestly can't imagine using anything else for my range bag. I absolutely love it! Such a great price too, cannot beat the quality you get for the price!

This is a solid range bag. What really sold me was the basement which fits my PCC perfectly! Do I wish it was slightly cheaper, yes, however, the quality is outstanding, the size is perfect, the customization is great and the molle on the outside if very useful.
Realistically if this was $30-$50 cheaper am I really missing that money? No, not really so long as the quality of this bag holds up and continues to be built like a tank I think this is a perfect example of "buy once cry once" and have a bag for years to come.
Great job Eberlestock I really really love this.
P.S. Find a coupon if you want to cry about it, they're out there on the web and you cry less tears. lol
