the bag has outstanding organization with plenty of internal pockets. Having a work and personal laptop and traveling a considerable bit for work, I’ve gotten more use out of the dual internal pockets for that than I ever would for its intended purpose. I find myself using the CCW pocket more for sensitive documents like my passport and wallet when traveling than anything. The balance of this organization, though, are some things that make this a less practical EDC bag. As other have mentioned, the bag’s design prevents it from standing upright which isn’t the end of the world when paired with a heroclip. My biggest issue with the bag, and something that keeps it out of my daily rotation, is how shallow the water bottle pockets are. Too many times, my coffee cup or water bottle, 32oz Yeti and a normal sized Nalgene, have launched out when just putting the bag on. The drawstrings do little to prevent this and, in some cases, only make the issue worse. All these things considered, I’ve gotten more use out of this bag as a great personal item/carry on for flights but as an EDC I’m still going elsewhere.

I already own the Jackknife, Switchblade, and Bandit. This completes the set. Each bag shares features that I like. The Little Trick has the same internal organizer as the Jackknife, but does not have the top organizer like the switchblade. The Switchblade also has the magnetic CCW pouch. I use the bags listed above for different things, but the Little Trick seems to be the best combination of those. It has the top and internal organizer, and also the Magnetic CCW pocket. It has a small profile, and I carry a laptop, IPAD, and sometimes a Surface tablet, so having the ability to carry all three along with my remarkable is a plus. I did get the black one and really like the material. I also look to secure my bag pockets and use carabiners to keep the uninvited out, and with the molle webbing, it makes it easy to lock these down.
I have added a phone pouch to the strap because I have to carry two phones.

I only have one critique, and that is the water bottle holder. I carry a 24-oz water bottle that fits well in all the other bags, but it seems to stick out a lot more in the Little Trick, and I think this is because of the zip-out expansion. It's not a big deal because I can still secure it, and it would not have kept me from buying it if I knew that. I might just get a shorter and fatter bottle. I use the pocket on the other side to carry an extension cord to keep my stuff charged up. Very handy and convenient. The straps are comfortable, "like the other bags." And having the expandable pocket on the bottom adds some padding for interior contents.

I have about 15-20 bags from 511, First Tactical, Rothco, Fox Tactical, and a few other miscellaneous makers, and I believe this is the best-built bag with the features I need.

Im giving this pack a 4 star review because of the cons that need to be improved. The concealed CWW pocket is not good to carry your pistol, it's not closing enough, had my X macro grip sticking out from it in the elevator. So I'm not using it at all. Material is very good, backpack is very comfortable to wear. It's the most comfortable backpack that I had In my life. Second con is it will not stand, it's very annoying. The pack is slim, you not gonna fit a lot and it not stretchy. Tried to put 10.5 556 in it and it doesn't fit proper if you don't have a tactical folder. Color is fire and top pocket is great!

Like every other (of several Eberlestock) packs I own, the design, quality and appearance of the Little Trick is unsurpassed. This is perfect for carrying my Sig Rattler sbr in an inconspicuous way, while traveling on the road. Not to mention it also fits my laptop and other edc items at the same time. I love the expandable bottom for fitting larger framed sbr’s. Plenty of pockets, nooks and crannies as well. One of my absolute favorite hidey hole compartments is the easy access compartment for packing a pistol. The magnetic closures for the compartment are precisely strong enough keep the pistol securely in place. I’m so impressed with the Little Trick, that I bought a couple and plan on giving them as gifts.

Awesome pack! Came with the front buckle strap accessory which I heard comes separately. Looking forward to breaking it in!

Excellent build quality, clever use of strong magnets to conceal carry and still allow fast access, and my favorite feature, the expanding bottom for a PDW or folding carbine. My only complaint is for the price a hip belt should be standard.
