I have been looking at this Atlas Bag for several years. I needed a 1 bag does it all to haul my gear, clothing, boots, binoculars, & most importantly to me the bottom storage compartment needed to carry my Eberlestock Modframe Pack. I looked at them in person 2 years in a row at the Western Conservation Show in SLC, and also compared them to other manufacturers that attend this Hunting Show. I contacted Eberlestock to ask for pictures depicting the fitment of the Modframe Pack in the lower storage. They provided the below photos to seal the deal. I ended up buying the Dry Earth Color so not my actual bag. Needless to say no regrets, planning on using this for an upcoming trip to Kodiak, AK in November. The quality of Eberlestock products as always is spot on, heavy duty material, zippers, etc. The value is excellent compared to other high quality companies that make similar luggage for hunters. I recommend the Atlas as a Best Buy, 5 *****

The Atlas Duffel bag is one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

I’ve tried multiple bags/duffels and nothing compares to Atlas Duffel. Additionally, I’ve put the duffel bag to good use as I utilize it for the majority of my SWAT gear. I managed to fit my vest, helmet, gas mask on the top portion of the duffel for quick access. I keep spare batteries, weapons cleaning supplies, gloves, and a second pair of peltors in the side pockets. The bottom portion I put my jacket and uniform.

All in all the Atlas Duffel has been game changer.

I purchased the Atlas to replace my existing aging travel duffel. The thing that stood out to me the most when considering the Atlas as a replacement was the vastly superior organization offered by the Atlas. One of the things that frustrated me the most about my previous duffel was the absolute lack of organization. Both bags are roughly the same size (90L on my previous bag to the Atlas' 95L), but my previous bag was just one big black hole for the main compartment with no dividers or straps. The two full-length external side pockets also had zero organization; just two big long pockets for things to slide around in. The Atlas solves these issues. The customizable main compartment dividers are a godsend. The Atlas' bottom compartment has internal straps for securing contents which is very handy and having three external pockets per side makes organizing and accessing all the stuff I have to haul around with me so much easier.

Another win for the Atlas compared to my previous duffel is serviceable wheels. The hard rubber tread on one of the wheels on my previous duffel disintegrated about two years ago and I was just stuck with one in-tact wheel and one bare plastic wheel and no way to replace it without replacing the whole bag.

In my use of the Atlas so far, the only downside I've found compared to my old duffel is that it won't stand up on its end without being leaned against something (useful when the handle is extended and you need to set the bag down momentarily to do whatever—you don't have to collapse the handle and set the bag down flat or lean it against something, you can just stand it up). By no means a deal breaker, but I do miss that capability.

All that having been said, I would highly recommend this bag for someone who travels frequently and needs to haul 10-14 days worth of clothes and things around with them while they're in the field.

Just like all the other Eberlestock products I own, quality is absolutely top-notch! Very satisfied with this duffel!

TLDR: The Atlas Duffel is an excellent rolling travel duffel with superior organization and top-notch quality that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a bag to support 10-14 day trips.

I like the duffle. My Mainframe backpack just fits, which is why I ordered the Atlas…and the free Bando was a nice touch but the box it was in was not heavy enough to withstand UPS. It arrived with a “UPS tape job”. It obviously was opened.
At least someone got a free Brando bag.

the atlas pack is the end all be all range or travel bag. it does everything you could ask for and more.

I bought this bag to go on week long bear hunt. I was able to get all my hunting clothes and regular clothes in this bag as well with my hunting gear with room to spare. The bottom compartment had room for 2 pairs of boots and tennis shoes this bag is a 5 star bag

This duffel has some amazing features. Lots of room, tons of storage pockets and has fantastic fabric quality. Extremely durable and well made. Has everything you could need for any deployment, and works well for other packing as well if that's what you want to do.

Great wheeled large compartmentalized bag. Exactly what I needed for my long weekends at the PRS matches and other hunting trips. Quality you’ve come to expect from Eberlestock. Don’t lug stuff on your shoulder, get wheels. Don’t bring that small overnight Samsonite, get something more appropriate. Just buy one, you won’t be sorry.

This bag got put through the absolute ringer on an 11 month deployment through several countries. It held up fantastic. I was able to put things that needed more protection in the bottom compartment and they were shielded and it increased its storage capacity by a lot. All the zippers held up perfect including the side pockets too. Worth the money for sure

I have 3 of these duffels. 2 I have traveled around the world with for the last 6 yrs, and the 1 for personal travel with the wife.
Has ample storage for clothes up top, and dirty boots or clothes in the bottom.
Why work bags roll with 60-70 lbs in each everyday.

Absolutely love this bag it’s way bigger than I expected but has room for everything, very well made high quality!! Definitely will buy again if ever needed! Plus I bought the foam insert and it fits perfectly! Highly recommended

Got this for a long travel day via airline. Packs great. Right size, not too big, not too small. Wheels make it roll nicely. I like the basement compartment.

I used this on a trip last month, it traveled well and was able to store all I needed for a two week trip. I plan to use it for up coming fishing trip.
Quality and construction are top notch. I like the pockets on the outside of the bag. I also like the ability to partition the main compartment.

While I haven’t used the bag yet. The size and organizational options are perfect for my travel needs.

Great idea and well made but the fact that it cant stand up on it's own is a MAJOR downfall and design error. So you have to hold onto it or lay it down anytime you stop at an airport, driveway, hotels, etc. If I can figure out a way to fix that this would be 5/5

Size is exactly what I was looking for. Pockets, compartment dividers, and durable fabric are all great. Considering the price and typical buyer, I would include foam in the base as a standard feature.

Big but not gigantic about the size of a large suitcase...I have the larger one also it's too big to use for a couple night stay.

This think is a beast. Its the perfect size for hunting trips and its airline approved!

Amazing bag. Fits everything and more that I need. I unfortunately bought this a say before they went on sale. So if you can wait for a sale. Do it. Wish i had waited but i love the bag none the less.

I want to start this off first by saying I'm a Marine Corps Veteran, I prefer the military luggage look for my gear, plus they're easier to locate out of all of the suitcases. I've had a few others like this. My first was similar in size by 5.11 but lacked the lower compartment. Found one that had the lower compartment on sale but it was larger. Luckily I travel enough I get 70lbs with Delta because the one empty was 24 lbs! But had the compartments I was looking for. Finally came across the Atlas Duffel. Smaller and still had the lower compartment.. I will say it's got everything I'm looking for with the compartments, even had a nice rain cover built in! The lower compartment could use a little more depth to it but not terrible overall. One thing that I think is a downfall for it that my 5.11 ones had, support bars the ran across the inside top area to help help keep the frame of the suitcase as well as the items inside safe as possible. You could take them out if you didn't like them as well, but they certainly helped and I feel that is the only thing that is really missing for this to help keep the integrity of the contents safe as well shape of the suitcase in tact. Overall, very happy with the buy! It's much lighter, easier to carry through the airport, and holds everything I need.
