Description
Built for those who forge their own path, the Deadwood Pant was designed to withstand the toughest environments. Whether you're breaking through thick brush, glassing on a ridgeline, low crawling into position, or locking in behind a rifle, the Deadwood Pant offers an exceptional level of dependability and protection.
The Deadwood Pant delivers the ideal blend of mobility and functionality with a midweight stretch nylon construction and reinforced, brush-busting, water-resistant overlays in the ankles, knees, and seat to keep you dry and dialed in.
Built-in knee pockets are equipped with lightweight neoprene cushioning, and are reinforced to provide an extra layer of comfort when kneeling on jagged terrain. The knee pockets are also compatible with heavy-duty D3O® P12 knee pads, which offer more protection when kneeling, cleaning game, or pulling security on an op. These pockets keep your knee pads locked in place, delivering a friction-free experience with no irritation.
Two-way vent zippers run down the thigh, regulating your body temperature and helping you stay dry. These zippers lock when pushed down flush against the pants, reducing snags and keeping airflow consistent. Zippered rear and thigh pockets offer secure storage for mission-essential items.
The Deadwood Pant has been rigorously field-tested for relentless performance and unmatched durability, enabling you to push harder and go further.
The Deadwood Pant meets the requirements for any field operation.

Solid pant. Comfortable, light, durable. Knee pads are great for kneeling or prone shooting. Would buy again
Love the pants but not an athletic fit so these are a little big but it’s okay. I’m not trying to impress the elk and mule deer
Love every single feature about these pants. They made with extremely durable material. The only thing that I would possibly add in the future renditions of these pants are that the ventilation zippers are covered with a type of breathable mesh so that they can be used in all seasons, regardless of you wearing something underneath of the pants and I would add an adjustable hem with either shock cord or Velcro at the bottom of the pants so that they can be bloused
Love these pants! Similar to the Camas pants, order your same size. Little more durable than the camas pants, but not as stretchy around very bottom of the leg. Lots of pockets, would definitely buy another pair.
Love em!
Great fit and awesome features, really happy with the fit. I purchased a 38, I’m 5’11 and 205 lbs
Strong material
I love these pants! The only ones I like better are the Camas Pro. They fit true to size, length on the y’all’s is perfect for a 6’1” body. They seem to snag less than other brands walking in heavy brush. Definitely buying more!
Great pants for early season or shooting sports. I wear them for PRS competitions and they are very comfortable. The thin knee pads are great and comfortable. I recommend them.
The Deadwood pants are simply the best I've ever owned.
Customers praised these tactical hunting pants as "comfortable, light, durable" with excellent features. Many loved the knee pads for shooting and hunting, ample pockets, and stretchy water-resistant fabric. Some noted sizing runs large and knee pad placement can be low for shorter individuals. Most found them versatile for competitions and outdoor activities.

- Light, protective, low enough profile to wear around town. These things punch WAY above their weight.

I gave the Eberlestock Deadwood Pants a solid test over a weekend of rucking and shooting. While I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, they feel rugged and well-constructed. The fit hits that sweet spot—slim enough to avoid extra fabric but loose enough for full mobility. The included lightweight kneepads are unnoticeable when walking, but when you drop to a knee, they’re a lifesaver. You can also swap in heavier kneepads if needed. The fabric is stretchy, water-resistant, and breathable, so I stayed comfortable all day. The side zippers vent heat, let air into pockets, and provide access to remove a compatible thermal layer.
These pants are now my go-to for shooting matches—and if you want to see them in action, check out my full review on YouTube @PrecisionRifleSniper!
Bought my first pair a few weeks ago. After receiving my first pair I ordered three more. Can’t say enough about these. The waist is a tad bigger than my other 30s but not a big deal. Belts are a thing.

I’m a hunter, competitive shooter and all around outdoorsman. I recently was looking for a pant to use for shooting competitions but also wanted something for hunting. I batted around these and the BornP pants before trying these. I’m glad I did. The features of these pants are great, padded knees but the pads are perfectly sized. You can’t even tell it has them until you kneel down. The vents are awesome as well. Very comfortable, will be buying more. The only thing I would say is they have a very slight “swoosh” sound when walking but very slight. I only bring that up for hunters. It’s not loud at all but I know it’s something people consider. I would have no reservations taking these out elk hunting though. Great product Eberlestock!
Excelente
These pants are well made and I like them. The flexible material is similar to some Prana pants I have and they’re comfortable. That stretch makes them much better for anything active. The knee pads that come with these are a thin neoprene. If you use the Eberlestock D30 knee pads, they don’t fit well. The pocket is a big flat rectangle, so the kneepads can move around. Also, I’m 5’8” tall and would prefer the knee pad be about 2” higher. It still works, but the top of my knee is at the very top edge of the knee pad. I’ll remove the neoprene pads and not use the D30 pads unless I can get the pocket sewn to fit those better. I may cut out the knee pad pocket. These are good pants, but even on sale, with this knee pad pocket issue, I feel there are better options for the price.
185 6ft athletic build 32x32 fit perfectly true to size with room to breathe and flex around. Light, protective, low enough profile to wear around town. Love these pants and I am glad my saga of buying hiking pant after hiking pant is finally over, seriously these things punch WAY above their weight class in this market, and honestly far out do the typical suspects for competition. Buy in confidence, I got 6 pairs after my first week with my first. Not an online review guy so really can't say enough about these these guys deserved time for some good feedback, well done.
These pants feel great. My typical pant size is 30/32 and these are a perfect fit. The area around the ankle is a little narrow for my salomon quest 4 mid boot but when i do get them around the boot i can tell it will keep weather out. I am very happy with this purchase.
Wanted to get these pants in order to lose my Velcro knee pads I wear on the outside of my tactical shooting pants (Truewerk, & 5:11). However, the knee pads that are in my moto pants don’t fit and unfortunately eberlestock doesn’t make them and searching provides the same size KLIM sized knee pads that don’t fit??? Seems like you would make the pockets big enough to fit the standard knee pads or at a minimum make your own knee pads!!! Sending back now!!!
Pants are great just too long
Awesome pants! I have other pants from other hunting/tactical manufacturers & these are the best made of them all!
Great pant soft built in knee pads Heavier than my hot weather Tiburon pant. Great fit!
They're comfortable pants with plenty of pocket space. The included knee pads come in hand more than you'd think.
I have been using eberlestock bags for 4 years now. When I saw they released a set of pants I jumped on it. The pants are demonstrative of eberlestocks consistent top notch quality in their products. The materials used are very durable while still being comfortable.
They are relatively mid-lightweight, I wouldn’t be afraid of wearing them in the Texas heat, but there are lighter pants out there. I personally would feel decent in these from around 33-90 Fahrenheit.
I think these really shine in being durable. I feel great going through thick brush without them tearing or fraying.
I haven’t gotten use out of the knee pads holders yet. The product shipped with square foam knee supports but I am wanting to try putting a real knee pad in them.
My only criticism of this product is the price. I was able to get these at a competitive price point, but I would’ve struggled to justify the cost if I didn’t have a discount.
Great quality pants
Very comfortable and durable pants for both hunting and workings around the house.
I love these pants. lightweight yet tough, the side vents help keep the air circulating around the man parts on long hikes and hot conditions defending against swamp a**. Comfortable enough to layer up underneath and wear during the colder days and long glassing sits. The knee pads on mine are a little to low but I dont not use them so its not a problem for me. Durability test currently in progress- I have now worn these pants over 45 days of hunting, no holes worn yet, all seems are uncompromised.
I was really looking forward to these pants and really wanted to give it a 5 star rating but they are super long and baggy unfortunately. The knee pads are on my shins and don’t protect my knees, unlike the pictures. I may try to exchange these and see if a different pair are any better. They look and feel very tough though.
I love eberlestock and own a ton of their products but for the price and new release status, these pants feel rushed and not well thought out. The side zippers for "venting" don't really make sense (possibly mesh netting when opened would make sense?) even for an outer layer like this is described. The knee pads (44wx42h) seem too low and even after adjusting the internal pads and my waist higher, they still hit the top third of my knees and rub. I am ordering the P12 knee pads just to confirm/test comfort. Happy to hear feedback and or try a different pair. Cheers.
