Backed by the Eberlestock Lifetime Warranty

When hunts take you deep into the backcountry for days or weeks at a time, the Brooks 7000 is the pack you want on your frame. Developed in-line with the Modframe™, this expedition-class pack provides massive capacity, durability, and the organizational features needed for remote, self-reliant hunts. It is simply an attachment bag. It does include an EMOD lid but it does not include a shoulder harness, hip belt, or frame.

The Brooks 7000 was designed to pair perfectly with the Modframe™ or Mainframe™ for excellent stability and comfort under heavy loads. (Modframe or Mainframe not included) When the time comes to pack out quarters, detach the bag, secure your meat to the frame, and reattach, keeping weight tight to your back and over your center of gravity.

Pack Design & Load Management:

  • 7000 cubic inches of storage for extended backcountry hunts
  • Roll-top closure allows adjustable volume for bulky gear or compressing lighter loads
  • Front zippered access to the main compartment for convenience in the field
  • Interior organization pockets keep gear secure and accessible
  • Side, front, and bottom compression straps to cinch down heavy loads or oversized items
  • Long side zippered pocket and two front stretch pockets for quick-access items
  • Includes the EMOD™ Lid for additional top storage and quick-grab essentials

The Brooks 7000 is engineered for the harshest terrain, using 500D ripstop. The pack weighs just 2 lb 14 oz, letting you carry more gear or meat without unnecessary bulk. It excels in brutal environments and works seamlessly with all Hunt EMOD™ frames and accessories. Customize your system with Batwings, a Bolt Action Scabbard, or additional accessory pouches to build out the ultimate extended-hunt system.

Killer Pack

Carries weight well especially on the modframe. Only used it for a two night scouting trip but it will carry everything you need and then some.

Brooks 7000 Review

Do you have a lot of crap to put in a sack for no reason? Well this is just the pack for you since it's hilariously big. I didn't realize how big a 114L pack is, but now I understand. Go big or go home...

Fits everything i need for a week in the back country.

Light, well designed, Good amount of space, very capable of storing gear for survival on the L Frames!

Fabric is stretchable and feels very durable.

I feel this bag is best on an L Frame.

I would suggest if you’re planning on using it as a survival bag that you use straps to loop around the bag or attach to the molle webbing on the L Frame behind the bag to secure additional side bags/gears.

Brooks 7000 and modframe

Seems to be a very well built system. Looking forward to using it soon. Only thing I wished the bag had were some MOLLE straps on the lid as well as on the bag

Love. Love. Love.

I am going to use this on my frame with the mainframe 2. EVERYONE is moving to optimizing less weight, but that comes at a price. Sure you can eliminate the metal frame and incorporate a fabric load shelf. Try hauling a metal bear bait barrel with a fabric shelf. My old Kelty Cache Hauler served me well for many years, but the metal bars that hinge the shelf get in the way of hauling a barrel. I am really glad that Eberlestock did not throw the baby out to change the bathwater, completely eliminating the mainframe with the mod frame. This is another reason why I trust Eberlestock so much. You can fanboy or fangirl your favorite brand based on their logo, but whatever brand you use... they are all basically making the same archetype of gear. Eberlestock is a company you can trust. They supply to multiple different industries which gives them lots of feedback on how components, straps, binders, zippers, velcro strap concealment devices work, work well, and need to be placed on their products.

Great Pack

I paired it with the Modframe and couldn’t be happier. Navigation, medical, saw and hatchet, food, clothing, hot tent and stove, bedding - the pack holds it all.

Plus, and maybe most importantly, the Brooks lets me be the beast of burden when my kid comes along. Nothing takes the fun out of hiking and camping like weight on the shoulders and hips over long distances. I suffer that so my kid can glide along, but without the 7k that might not be possible.

8 day spring bear

Pack with the mainframe II was perfect for 8 days in the hills of Hells Canyon for spring bear. Will add the large batwing when they come back in stock to have a better day pack system. I clipped the assault pack in for day pack to the mainframe for now and worked fine.

Excellent purchase

Well made equipment. Surprisingly collapsible, if you can only afford 1 bag, get this one. Lid being included, is awesome, fits more than you'd want to carry. Front zipper opens to main compartment, no more digging from the top! Saving for another bag!!!

Brooks 7000

Needed something larger than the 3500 that I already have for longer packs in. Quality is great, currently training with it on the off season with sand bags and it holds up fine. More than enough room for a week long backcountry hunt. I’m 6’5” so all of my gear is larger than normal and I have no problem fitting everything.

Brooks 7000 + Modframe | Early Impressions

I recently purchased the Eberlestock Brooks 7000 with the ModFrame system for hunting and backpacking. While I haven’t taken it on a full multi-day hunt or packed out meat yet, I’ve used it on multiple weighted hikes and a day hunt, and first impressions have been very positive.
I’ve done a couple 40-lb weighted hikes using the meat shelf with a sandbag, along with one day hunt running just the ModFrame and EMOD lid. The pack was comfortable under load and felt well balanced. On a steep climb that required some rock scrambling, the pack stayed stable and never felt like it pulled me off my center of gravity.
The ModFrame + EMOD system is clean, quiet, and easy to configure. I like that I can run it fully expanded for a 5+ day hunt, compress it for a 1–2 day setup, or strip it down to just the frame and lid for short hunts or moving to a glassing position. For my day hunt, the EMOD lid attached cleanly to the frame and held everything I needed. I was also able to strap my bow over the lid using the included straps, and ran a MOLLE water bottle attachment on the waist belt without issue.
Access is excellent. Being able to get into the pack from both the top and the front horseshoe zipper makes organizing and accessing gear much easier.
Build quality on both the frame and bag feels solid. Stitching, zippers, and materials all seem well done. The two areas I’m curious about long term are the front stretch pocket on the bag and the stretch pocket on the lid, as the material is fairly thin. I also noticed the zipper attachment on the ModFrame hangs slightly below the bottom of the frame and bag—not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed (I just tuck the "zipper tails" under my pack for a cleaner look).
Overall, the Brooks 7000 has been comfortable, stable, and versatile so far. It seems best suited for multi-day backcountry hunting, and I’m looking forward to putting more miles and weight on it this season.

Great bag

I've put my 9 year old and 6 year old in it separately and swung them around. I think this bag is great and I'm glad I went with the 7000. It's a great size and incredibly light.

I like how this pack is made. It fits seamlessly with the emod system. I like that with this system, I can easily modify it to fit different activities. The Brooks 7000 is so well made and spacious. It is so well thought out and designed even down to the smallest details.

Mule

Just when you think things couldn’t get better, it’s gotten better! This thing is literally a mule. The padding is very supportive and comfortable allowing you to carry a lot of weight with ease.

What does the pack Brooks 7000 come with. Could I use it for hiking and not get the modframe? Why do i need the modframe?

Eberlestock

Without the frame, the bag is just a bag with no straps or structure.

L
Levi S.

I feel stupid for asking but is the brooks 7000 water proof or water resistant

Eberlestock

All of our bags are water resistant.
