Description

The Freefall Pack is a versatile, low‑drag load carriage platform built for mission‑driven performance across tactical, professional, and outdoor environments. Engineered for adaptability and comfort, it provides a stable, ergonomic chassis that supports multi‑day excursions with a minimalist kit or robust day missions with a full setup. Its spacious main compartment, organized internal storage, and supportive harness allow operators to carry essential gear efficiently without excess bulk.

The Freefall Pack features a top lid with expansive access and multiple internal pockets, enabling structured organization of mission‑critical equipment, hydration systems, and personal gear. Dual external water bottle pockets, compression straps, hip belt zipper pockets, and a pull‑forward hip belt enhance load stability and accessibility in fast‑moving environments. The Freefall 3000 model adds an internal partition for additional gear separation and extended missions, while the Freefall 2000 offers a streamlined profile for straightforward day use.

Adjustable shoulder harness geometry and a padded hip belt ensure comfort under load, allowing the Freefall Pack to perform across varied terrain and prolonged carry durations. Full‑length zipper access provides unimpeded entry to the main compartment, and hydration compatibility supports sustained effort in challenging conditions.

Military Use Case
For military operations, the Freefall Pack provides a rugged, organized platform for tactical gear, communications, hydration, and sustainment loads. Its low‑drag profile and compartmentalized access support mounted movement, reconnaissance missions, and troop‑level patrols while maintaining balance and mobility through changing mission phases.

Law Enforcement Use Case
For law enforcement, the Freefall Pack is ideal for patrol, tactical response, and field operations where rapid access to communications, medical supplies, and essential tools is paramount. Its internal organization and external carry options support efficient gear staging and responsive action in high‑stress environments.

Civilian Hiking & Outdoor Use Case
In civilian applications, the Freefall Pack excels as a trail‑ready backpack for hiking, backpacking, and overland travel. Its thoughtful organization, hydration compatibility, and comfort‑focused harness make it well-suited for day hikes or extended treks, while compression straps and external pockets help secure and manage gear on rugged terrain.

Know Before You Buy

Freefall

Questions, Answered.

What sizes does the Freefall come in
The Freefall is available in two sizes. The Freefall 2000 measures 25 inches high, 13.5 inches wide, and 9 inches deep, holds about 1,975 cubic inches (32L), and weighs 5 pounds. The Freefall 3000 measures 28 inches high, 13 inches wide, and 9 inches deep, holds about 2,800 cubic inches (46L), and weighs 5.25 pounds.
What is the difference between the Freefall 2000 and 3000
The Freefall 3000 adds volume and a zippered sleeping bag or clothing compression compartment at the base. A lightweight diaphragm with cinch cords separates the compartment from the main compartment and provides bottom access to gear. The 2000 has a horizontal face zipper. The 3000 has a vertical face zipper.
What is the Freefall designed for
The Freefall is a travel and assault pack built to be streamlined and rigid enough for extreme conditions. When fully compressed, it sits only a couple of inches deep, making it overhead bin-friendly for airline travel.
What frame and back panel does the Freefall use
The Freefall uses a tubular aluminum frame separated from the back by air mesh for ventilation in hot conditions.
What harness comes on the Freefall
The Freefall uses our newest shoulder harness, with heavier padding and an updated sewing configuration for added comfort. The chest strap wraps fully around the shoulder harness for added security. The harness is adjustable using our ladder system to fit different torso heights.
What hip belt comes on the Freefall
The Freefall uses our newest hip belt with a pull-forward, quick-release buckle that adjusts without slipping or pinching. The lumbar pad has a grip surface to keep it from sliding below the belt line. Each side of the hip belt has a stretchy, zippered pocket for quick access to small items without removing the pack.
How does the Freefall open
The main compartment zipper runs the full length of both sides so you can lay the pack open flat for loading or pull the zippers down to the base for fast access to items at the bottom without going in from the top.
How is the Freefall organized
Both sizes have a flat zippered face pocket, a large top lid for small items, dual side water bottle pockets, and hydration bladder hose ports. Inside, you will find a zippered mesh pocket for sensitive items behind two zippers, sidewall slip pockets, a back wall slip pocket, and a water bladder hanger strap. Two side compression straps per side compress the pack or lash gear to the outside.
