Attached very easily and holds my bear spray tightly and makes it easy to deploy

I can’t even get a normal size can in there. Pretty much useless. Have to look if smaller bear spray sizes are available.

Well as always quality is great on material . Unfortunately my bear canister is extremely hard to get into the holder . I have to use a flat metal peice to pry open enough space to slip it on . Other than that looks good

As a MIdwest / Southeast hunter, this will hold a small~'regular sized' smart water bottle.

Bought this for my recon pack for hiking out west and was very pleased. Feels secure with the Molle straps and the elastic across the top of the canister is a good design if you have to bend over or climb.

Perfect pouch for storing a can of spray on the Modframe. Keeps a critical piece of gear within immediate reach, should that unlikely encounter come to pass.

Seems sturdy and attached to the bino harness well, but I tried a couple different spray cannisters and they're a really tight fit to get in the pouch.

Great pouch. Just what I expected from Eberlestock.

This is a replacement for another brand pouch that broke. The quality is obvious and the pouch fits securely on either my day pack, for day hikes...of on my larger pack, for elk hunts. Very happy with this piece of equipment.

The bear spray pouch really makes the Recon system my back country go-to! I notice some users have issues with mounting securely - couple of tips:

- Eberlestock has a YouTube video called "Attaching Recon Side Accessories - Molle" that shows how to weave an accessory into the Recon, and loop the end of the strap back to secure it - this works for the Bear Spray pouch

- Make sure to push your bear spray can all the way to the bottom of the pouch - you have to work it down to get all the way to the bottom strap, but this keeps the spray can from flopping and being top-heavy

- If you attach to the side (instead of the MOLLE panel at the bottom), make sure to mount it to the loops next to the binocular pouch, rather than at the end of the side - this helps secure the spray can

Once I mounted the pouch correctly, it was very secure, and the bear spray is readily accessible if I ever need it on the trail!

Snug fit to get my bear spray in the holster, but once it's in there it feels very secure. Seems to work well overall.

Overall the bear spray pouch works, but the Recon molle system doesn't allow it to be attached very securely, it flops around when on the move. Also the pouch is so tight the seams get stretched out when putting the bear spray in.

Fits perfectly to harness. Would have been 5 stars if the pouch would also fit the larger spray cans.

Perfect for my Baefang radio also (with extended battery).

Great accessory for my other Eberlestock gear!

Exactly what I needed to securely hold my bear spray. Stoked on the versatility being able to attach to several different packs, bino harness, belt, etc.

The pouch would not fit a normal sized can of Counter Assault. I literally could not put the can in. I had to stretch the material with pliers to accommodate it. Now it's difficult even to remove and nearly impossible to put back in. Almost unbelievable and super disappointing.

Fits the bear spray perfect with my set up.

fits perfectly next to recon pack with easy access and unhindered placement whether shooting archery or rifle.

My only negative was it seemed to rub and squeak at just the right angles when I was hiking or climbing. Otherwise it fit snuggly on my bino harness and was easily accessible.

Love this set up for packing bear spray along. It will be on my harness guiding this archery elk season! Easily integrated into the harness system and easy to use. Love it!

Tremendous value and workmanship always

Overall, very pleased with the recon stem... I have the hand warmer, bear spray holder, and the handgun holster all working without restrictions! I have 3 other bino harnesses that do not compare to this system.

Being in grizzly country, being able to carry spray and other personal protective measures are important and this makes it seamless.
