I have a few Eberlestock packs so I am accustomed to the great quality and durability that comes from them. The pack and harness system work great under load and with the extended bottom and lower center for the scabbard even a heavier rifle with clip on accessories feels great.

One thing that probably wasn’t considered or planned for in the development and designing phase was this packs amazing ability to be a great tactical changing pad and field bassinet. Worked like a charm. Again awesome job, Calder approved

I love the EMOD system but find the Spectre quicker and easier to use with short action rifles. It also fits an A-Zone steel target for extra workout

This is an excellent pack.plenty of room in the main compartment. Looks very durable. I've used it a couple of times so far for camping and to a range. Carried all that I wanted to carry. The rifle sleeve is definitely a quick access. The straps are comfortable on my shoulders but I have not used it yet for a long hike. I am still trying to see where to strap on game bags to it though. I do highly recommend it.

I’m not so sure quality is a good enough word to use for this pack. I mean it’s 99% perfect and appears to be indestructible so calling it a “quality bag“ does it an injustice.
I was looking for a bag to take to the range for the days I was going to take just one item. I originally purchased the X1 Euro but was a little disgruntled to find none of my AR platforms would fit. And then… The clouds cleared, the shys opened and a light shown down from heaven and the Spectre was created. After 63 years on this planet I can finally say America invented something worthwhile and to talk about.
Solid zippers for the rifle compartment that are not going to bind up if you get dirt or sand in them. The Spring loaded buckles inside that compartment and pressure release tab to lengthen/shorten are genius… Absolute genius. Whenever you purchase a pack you can always find a few things that you would do differently or you’d like to see on them. On the Spectre I found two but one hasn’t been invented yet. I think it’s time for you guys to invent laser cut Molle Velcro for the rifle compartment. So then the only one thing that I would change, and I can’t understand why they didn’t do it is change the two side carry handles to a padded one like you did on the top of the bag.
Other than that one item, this bag is perfect.
In fact, this bag is so perfect, Eberlestock managed to even make the buckles and pulls in beef flavor because my Great Dane puppy loves them. I lost one of each before I ever actually got a chance to use the bag, no worries mate, they make/sell spares lol! I replaced the pull, getting ready to order the buckle.

Solid bag. Quick and easy to deploy, and enough room to hold all support gear. Went for a 5 mile ruck with 60lbs of gear (26lb rifle, enough water for the day, all ammo, rear bag plus support, full size tripod, and other gear like my crono, tac table, fix it sticks, etc). Not soar after, held up great, and doubles nicely as a pad to sit on if you use the inside flap of the back portion.

Needing a better transport option than a hard case I purchased the Gunrunner 2. While it is an excellent pack, the balance is quite off when the rifle exceeds 50 inches and 20 pounds. Although it holds the rifle well, the optic and action on a +30 pound rifle make the pack very top heavy and a chore to remove thebrifle from the pack.
The Specter solves many of these issues. The center of gravity is lowered removing the inverted pendelum of scope and action from over head and provides better protection for optics. The side zippers and retention system minimize movement while providing ease of access.
The only draw back observed at this point is the absence of a barrel cover, which would be nice in inclement weather. However, it does make deployment that much faster.
This pack was purchased with my largest rifle in mind but works very well with others.
Rifle: XLR folding chasiss, 52 inches folded, 37 pounds.

This pack is great for carrying large frame gas guns and your equipment. 10/10 with the pads.

Awesome addition to the line up! I purchased this bag for my predator hunting and for my compound bow carry. First trip out and im completely satisfied. I was able to carry two bog tripods with ease and also carry my rifle and bog tripod as well. This bag has the perfect amount of room for rifle, tripods, electronic calls, hand calls, extra batteries, hydration, snacks, additional clothes, head ware, attachment for extra mags pouches. It's the cream of the crop for night hunting full send. I can't say enough about it. You hear the phrase "buy once, cry once." There aint no crying about this purchase. The best build quality in the industry and warranty hands down! I freaking love it. Thank you Eberlestock for listening to us and producing the best rigs on the planet. STOKED!!

After using the Gunslinger 2 for a year, i was happy to upgrade to this. You can see my review in my linked youtube video. Almost entirely positive, with 2 proposed modifications to make it better. Keep up the good work and please develop a hook and loop organization pouch for it, to hold mags!

Eberlestock has done an excellent job designing this pack and is now my main long range/PRS match pack. The construction is very impressive and incredibly durable. You will not have to worry about wearing this pack out that’s for sure. I also have the Upranger that I’ve used for my range/match pack and the LoDrag II that I now use for hunting. I think of the Spectre as the upgraded LoDrag with the increased capacity and superior scabbard, but without the rain cover unfortunately. The molle webbing locations are excellent for attaching various pouches or tools. I do wish the side molle panels had one or two additional rows but am glad they went with laser cut molle on the exterior this time. The various handles, especially the new front handle, are convenient and make positioning the pack effortless. I wish the Spectre had a divider inside like the LoDrag/HiSpeed packs. I really miss having that. Other than that, the only thing I dislike is the compression strap buckles block the main compartment zipper, so you must unbuckle the straps to fully unzip the bag’s main compartment open. The scabbard straps are independent though, thankfully. I absolutely love this bag and am still testing the pack and repositioning my gear to find the best load out for me. The new harness and waist belt are a big upgrade, super comfortable, and make the pack a pleasure to carry even while fully loaded up. I look forward to using this pack more and seeing how others use theirs Spectre pack!

I have not had a chance to use this bag yet, but looking forward to using it this coyote season. The back top notch and quality is second to none. I have tested several different rifles so far and everything fits perfectly. The space is large enough for a folder 300PRC and hides perfectly a 9mm PCC!

Great bag for the range but it really shines on a hunt, easy carry plenty of room and fast access. Great bag and built to last a lifetime.

This pack holds ALL my gear which is close to 100 lbs. It feels like a fireman carry. Very well made and multiple different pockets to separate my gear for my different functions. I love the internal frame and harness. Thank you guys for a pack that will get allot of use and last me a long time. Now I can throw away my drag bag. Four thumbs up!

Specter is an outstanding pack. Iv tried multiple weapon carry packs for my SWAT Sniper role from Eberlestock (Phantom, Operator, Mission Emod frame and ruck) this is the only one that offers enough support to carry the weight and also secures everything so it isn’t shifty over long movements. What separates a this pack from the others in the Eberlestock line is the scabbord sinches to itself making the weapon tight to the frame and the pack sinches to itself making those contents tight to the scabbord. With other packs the sinches aren’t separate. The emod with a weapon sinched reduces room in the main pack. This pack doesn’t do that. Great deployment pack for swat. Would love to see an option with more space in the lid, internal separation, more external pouches and space for wintertime deployment when I have to carry more gear. Would aLeo like to see dedicated molle pouch options for the external molle on this pack. The sustainment pouch fits long and Doesn’t use the full width of the molle. Finally, a pack that fits everything. Ive used several packs over the years and as rifles get bigger and larger optics and weapon mounted laser ballistic solvers are added they no longer fit into the packs without modification. The Spectre solves that.
