Customers say the pouch is well made and versatile, and often mention the rip-away feature and organization.
Highly rated for:Capacity, Mounting System, Build Quality
Weight: 5oz
Dimensions: 6”H x 9.5”W x 3”D
When speed and security are valued over all else, the Large Rip Away Pouch takes a step up in size with the same deployment method for larger kit and equipment, or purely an increase in organizational real estate. The large internal compartment is built to accommodate several configurations and tools, making this one of our most customizable accessory pouches yet.
Like the name suggests, this pouch can be secured or removed quickly thanks to a strong Molle mounting panel and robust velcro backing.

Customers praised this medical pouch for its "excellent quality" and durability. The rip-away feature provides quick access, and it "fits everything" needed for medical supplies. Many noted its versatility for various mounting options. However, some customers wished for additional mesh pockets or compartments to keep items separate and secure, particularly for small items like chest seals.
I needed a small rip-away first aid kit bag. I have large trauma bags but wanted something I could mount to my molle panel in my Jeep that I use for disaster response. I just wanted the basics for minor boo boos. This bag fits the purpose perfectly. It's mounted to my overhead molle panel and with the quick rip-away feature is easily accessed when needing small first aid supplies.
Like all Eberlestock products, the quality of the item is great. However, it is not well designed to hold medical items securely. It could use mess pockets to keep items separate and secure.
The Large Rip-Away Medical Pouch fits everything I need plus more. Very impressed with the quality and durability.
Great medkit. I wish it fit better on the assault pack which has 3 columns of molle while the kit has 4 columns, so its not centered, but you can move the kit on the velcro to center it on the pack. Fits everything I would want for my hunt with no issue.
Great bag for a large IFAK
Just like every other Eberlestock product I own. Very well made!
Very fast shipping even to ak
Very great could use at lest one small pocket to put some small stuff in but a great pouch other than that
Used in conjunction with my HIghspeed II. Perfect fit allowing, easy access to to first aid needs.
I got this for a day trip option instead of packing a whole med kit I take on long trips. Its a great size for those trips that could be a bit adventureous as it holds much more than a few band-aids and gauze like some of the smaller pouches.
FYI, I bought this to pair with my bandit pack, which it will, though this pouch is a bit wider than the pack. I do wish it had a way to mount it vertically, not just horizontally. I'd have more functionallity then. It will still function well despite this.
The size and inside organisation is perfect for what it is intended to be!
I personally use it as a quick access triage pouch on my mission medic bag, with TQs, field medical cards, pens, emergency blankets and in case of a junctional bleeding would still be alive at the second look, a combat gauze, a compressed gauze and a compressive bandage.
It all fits perfect in a really quick access pouch
It works just fine piggy backing onto both my ruck and aid bag. While the set up is organized and thought out i thought the bag would be a little bigger in depth, just a little tight with my airway kit inside. Overall recommend this for a jump bag
Amazing gear!
Great quality. Pouch is secure to base and mounts easily. I wanted a larger trauma pouch for my belt to lessen gear protrusion.
I got this pouch for my Romad pack. I wanted an extra pouch and a kit I could build with first aid supplies. To date I have use it three times either for myself or others. It is easy to organize. Hold a good number of supplies. Very accessible. So easy to just rip off when you do not need it.
Great pouch! Has lots of space for medical supplies
Top quality
I Love this first aid kid. It is exactly what I was looking for. It holds ample amount of medical gear and supplies and it fits on my battle belt. Thank You, Elberlestock!!! ❤️
Fits perfect on my pack
Thoughtfully designed and versatile. Instead of admin pockets that limit placement of items, the pouch is a large open space with optional organization elastic bands for placement/retention of items.
Build quality and materials are excellent.
I have been using the layout with 2 large and 2 small medical pouches and they have been fantastic. I love how versatile they are with the anchor panel. I have been using them to hold medical and other essential mission equipment for my TDYs and sometimes have just been slapping them inside the assault pack when I don't need the whole lot. Really awesome stuff Eberlestock. Keep this kind of ingenuity up!
The Cro med we have at home. Does a lot right, and only a couple annoyances.
Pros: space for all of MAR and extras. Easy to operate and stow without looking.
Cons: limited customization. Ranger green is different shade of any other Ranger green i own.
If you want a belt kit that’ll fit advanced interventions, this will fit it.
So far so good. Doesn't hold as much as I am required to have in my FAK , but honestly those items should probably be positioned for ease of access (TQ, flashlight, etc) and or in a separate spot for using on others vs using on yourself.
This medical pouch is just not a medical pouch. The rip-away feature allows it to be carried and used many different ways.
1. Attached to my ruck, during S&R events
2. Attached to a chest rig for access during high angle mountain rescue events
3. Filled with snacks to keep my 12 yr old twins moving down the trail
( They like being able to pull it off dad’s ruck, pull out the snacks they want
and then stick it back on)
I’m sure as time goes on I’ll find additional uses for it. I do wish we could purchase a second mounting panel. Thereby increasing the easy by which the pouch can be moved between gear.
Well designed purpose built and modular, I only have one bitch, pockets. For things like chest seals and what not. I realize it’s not supposed to be a full on med bag but I like having protective places for things like chest seals and the like. I want to know exactly where they are In the dark. Still, a most excellent product my dudes…if the troops ain’t bitchin they ain’t happy!
Oh and thank you ‘Americas patriots across the nation for restoring my faith! I was starting to wonder there for a while…but…damn impressive!
All the equipment in your company is of excellent quality
The rip-away feature has broad application, not just to medical supplies.

I used the vapor on a 3 day hunt, with the mainframe II, The large side access to the pack is awesome, made getting into the pack and organizing gear easier while on the move. The material feels durable enough i wasn't worried about pushing through thick brush. It's a little much for a day pack, but easy to compress down. It's large you could take for a week or more.
I really like the harness, easily opens up. Shock cord attachment for your binoculars, fits my 12x50. The material is soft and not abrasive, so it's quiet when you are opening it up or moving. Once you add the rangefinder and other pouches it's a very versatile setup. I'll be getting another setup for my son later on.
Works very well with gear i have. I enjoy mostly how easy it is to pull my rifle from the scabard and aim down range quickly. I can configure my pack to a 3day pack alone or a drag bag. Great pack. Thank you!
Extremely well thought out design. Compartments are laid out well. Carries 20# match rifle, tripod, binos, ammo and all other match gear very well.
The modframe was the move on a recent elk hunt. I used the Vapor 5000 on the first day of the hunt but elected to leave the main bag behind. I strapped the kill kit bag to the center and had my trekking poles and tripod hung off the sides. Barely even noticed I had a pack, in fact I found it easier to hike with what felt like a reinforced brace keeping me upright.
Paired the Modframe with the Vapor 5000, bolt action scabbard, and the pack lid. All excellent additions to complete the kit.
I bought the Modframe and the Vapor 5000 for a recent (unsuccessful) elk hunt. But holy cow did this make traversing the rough terrain of the Colorado Rocky Mountains a breeze. The large bag had more than enough room for my kill kit, in a seperate bag, as well as adding layers of warm weather gear I shed off throughout the day. And I still had a bunch of room for extra gear.
If I ever needed another hunting pack. This one wouldn't have competition with anything else.
Great scabbard lots of room for scoped rifle with bipod
I would not ordinarily take the time to rate a hydration bladder. But….. this thing is awesome. The straw is padded with braided nylon, the bladder material sheds water like off a ducks back. Easy to clean, quick clips at every connection and overall high quality makes this thing really stand out. This blows camelback away IMHO.
love it, very comfortable. Good value for the cost
Amazing bag. Most comfortable pack I've ever had with lots of compartments and storage!
Excellent construction, layout, and comfort. Still fairly "tacticool" looking, but still professional enough that most people won't realize it even has the well disguised conceal carry pocket.
this scabbard fits anything smaller than an m249. pretty sure i could
fit a recurve bow in it if needed. i carry bolt actions, levers and AR's depending on the game and state. all with large optics. this scabbard digests them all and i have zero qualms about ditching my pack with the rifle in it from low stands if need be.
the pack is a beast. the material is flawless, stitching is bomb-proof and the design is so well thought out-no improvement needed. i like that the belt has molle attachment for a sidearm, some of my hunts require it... i am not the only predator out there!
I took the Vapor 5000 on a 4x high country Mule Deer and Bear hunts. I was carrying 45lbs of gear to sleep in and it felt great on my back while moving through 7600-9000ft in elevation. This pairs up really well with the modframe and serves as a great day pack or even as a backpacking pack. Ive hauled an entire bear hide with head, paws included inside this pack plus my tent, sleeping bag and other misc stuff. It has become my go to pack for serious hunting trips. I really like the side pouches to put my spotting scope and tripod. It is well designed for the hunter in mind. Buy it with confidence!
