Description

The Hydration System Magnetic Clip holds the drinking tube and valve of any hydration system in place when on the move and prevents the tube from dangling around your chest. It easily attaches to clothing, shoulder straps, or MOLLE webbing.

Haven'y used it yet...so the verdict is still out. Appears to be a useful idea. We'll just have to wait and see, during Elk season.

I was really enjoying having the magnet clipped to my backpack strap, but two miles into the hike and the clip was gone. Don’t get me wrong. It’s very well built and the magnet is strong. It would be nice if the clip could be more secure. For what it’s worth, I’d buy it again and try to better secure the clip the next time out:

Stitch it on or you will lose it!

The magnet does the job, but the clip will launch if you wrangle your shoulder strap too aggressively when putting on your pack. I solved the problem with needle and threat by stitching it to the strap via the hole on the underside of the clip. Now I won't have to search for it again in the dead leaves.
