i had used gatekeepers before. they are hard to find and expensive. so when i saw eberlestock selling a set of 6 on compression straps i knew they were a bargain. i didnt realize how good a bargain! pure quality and thought out design. i was so impressed imade a video for my youtube channel.

I actually just had the good fortune to put my gatekeeper hookup kit to use a few days ago when I filled my bow tag. I shot a muley buck in the badlands of North Dakota, and we packed him out in our Mainframe packs. I used the hookup kit to strap a hind quarter and shoulder to my frame, then attached my vapor pack on top of that. It worked perfectly. Really glad I got it.

The gatekeeper accessory strap work really well. I have plenty of mounting options to the side of my switchblade pack where the front or the top. They are the perfect length to add bulky items or small items such as jackets or keeping taller item in place or a taller item in place. The main use I get is mounting the gatekeeper in the front to keep the front of the pack from unzipping all the way

I thought I was getting regular extension for the cinch straps which will be super useful for cinching down more stuff to my pack. These straps are for a different purpose. The error was totally my own. I think I will keep them because they will prove useful at some point.

I like the straps for the ability to expand what I carry

Using them to secure 50-65 lbs on my m1 carrier for ruck training. Was a little skeptical of the plastic buckle, but they are hold up with no issue.

I was skeptical about these at first and almost didn’t buy them in hopes that the buckle kit would come back in stock. After using these on an elk hunt I’m glad I made the purchase. These are easy to install and remove and I’m finding I can use them in a variety of different ways. I’m running the mainframe with a brooks 3500 bag.

Great to have on hand because you never have enough of these when getting everything on the pack. Happy with the purchase!

Normally I would rig something up to keep my pack from shifting around when it is not full. This solves the problem and saves me the trouble of figuring it out myself.

I wanted the straps to use with my pack in order to secure items I frequently use and need quick access to. These straps are very well made and match my packs versatility! Will be getting more for my other Eberlstock pack.

I bought them for a variety of reasons but what I’m using them for at the moment is to attach my gun runner pack to my main frame. They work well and are built to the awesome standards of all eberlestock products.

Love all the strap systems by Elberlestock! This is an awesome system for the load shelf on the F-1 as well as other places on the pack! It’s nice not to have worry about lashing things to the pack.

Works great to attach scabbard to pack

Last piece for the Mainframe. The Mainframe is the most versatile pack ever, supplemented with the 2500 bag, 2 Batwings and the Gatekeepers there is no mission you can’t solve. I normally run the to batwings and use the Gatekeepers to secure the quarters or meat bags, they do an amazing job keeping everything tight and make the pack out easier. I have packed out an entire Miley with this system, and also have packed out a rear Elk quarter with two back straps. This system has made my other packs obsolete. Great gear that makes the work easier. Don’t think you’ll be able to top this, but if you do I’ll be a repeat customer.

With the design of the F1, these straps allow you to secure a load straight to the pack, without crushing the snacks I store in my vapor. The meat won’t shift around, and I know my Fritos will survive the pack out.

Batwings are great, but scabbard cover is too small. It doesn't fit over my rifle and is smaller than the scabbard, which would funnel all the water debri into the scabbard. Seems like a design flaw.
