Description
Fade Blocker Sleeves are hook-backed, roll-top Faraday bags that Velcro into Eberlestock Fade packs or other compatible pack systems, providing modern organizational solutions for your modular kit.
The laser cut MOLLE velcro front of the pouch allows for you to MOLLE on any compatible pouch or sandwich it behind one of our other fade accessory pouches.
When using the pouch with a phone, its recommended that the user turn off the phone or set the phone to airplane mode to conserve battery life. Otherwise the phone will use extra power searching for signal.
Faraday bags block RFID waves, Wifi, Bluetooth and Cellular signals when sealed properly. Ideal for traveling, the Blocker Sleeve will protect information stored in your passport’s information chip (As of 2007, all US passports have chips), credit cards, key fobs and other devices that use RFID chips. This prevents hackers from stealing your information, and allows your phone to be completely “turned off.” Faraday bags are also theorized to protect electronics from a EMP attach or solar flare.

As others have said, this doesn't fit my Fade packs. I also agree with other reviewers that the quality is lacking and the few little strips of Velcro that are supposed to attach the pouch to the pack are a joke. I have bought a lot of Eberlestock gear over the years as a cop, soldier and hunter but they have definitely gone downhill!
This looked like a great addition to the Fade Brief, however, it unfortunately does not fit in any parts of the sides. for the brief.
I will be getting the tablet variant and see if it can fit.
I like Eberlestock and I was excited about a few pieces from the Fade series. I was very disappointed in this one though. The entire back should have been hook and loop field (the opposite of what the laser cut pals webbing is on the front. Instead it has 6 small tabs of male velcro that aren’t enough to hold up a Mac Book Pro in the sleeve.
Second, this is supposed to be a series. I wanted this faraday sleeve as a laptop sleeve that drops into the laptop sleeve on the Fade Transport 21 backpqck… you’d think something in the same series that’s meant for the same purpose would be designed to consider occupying the same space but that isn’t the case. I like the pieces but I’m glad I got them 40% off during the Black Friday sale. This just once again probed to me how short sighted and over marketed this company is. They make good gear some times but it doesn’t go together well for the money they want to charge.
