The Cradle Hip Belt delivers features for enhanced comfort, reducing the pain and discomfort of heavy loads. It has thick, contoured waist pads to better disperse weight and help reduce muscle fatigue during long hikes. The Cradle Hip Belt serves as a replacement for our modern frame pack systems, working with their integrated lumbar pads to deliver an improved fit, season after season.
The forward-pull retention buckle can be tightened with one hand and keeps the belt secure around your waist, so adjustment is not required throughout your hike. On the stabilized versions, rear stabilizing straps improve weight distribution, load balance, and prevent shifting, increasing your endurance and keeping you focused on the hunt. The stabilized versions are only compatible with our newest frame systems, like the Brute Series load-hauling packs, Mainframe II, and Modframe.
Regular: 30" - 52" waist size. Length of padding is 32 inches.
Long: 34" - 55" waist size
*Cradle Hip Belts are not compatible with our smaller packs, like the Switchblade, Bandit, or UpRanger.

I just finished a 10-day elk hunt in Wyoming, walking anywhere from 5–10 miles a day through some rough country while carrying everything I needed for a full day in the field. After putting these through that kind of use, I can say the Cradle Hip Belt and hydration bladder were two of the best additions I made to my Eberlestock setup.
The Cradle Hip Belt is on another level. Fully loaded, my pack stayed tight and stable against my body instead of shifting around while climbing, descending, and crossing uneven terrain. More importantly, it distributed the weight so well that after miles of hiking every day, I couldn’t believe how comfortable I still was. Ten days of hunting will expose uncomfortable gear very quickly, and this belt performed incredibly well.
The 2-liter hydration bladder was just as useful. I could keep moving and drink without taking my pack off or stopping to dig for a water bottle. Over 5–10 miles a day, that convenience makes a much bigger difference than you’d think. It fit the pack perfectly and did exactly what I needed it to do.
My only criticism is the mouthpiece on the bladder. I’m going to swap it for one I personally prefer. That’s literally the only thing I would change.
After 10 days and a lot of miles in Wyoming elk country, that’s about the strongest compliment I can give this setup: damn, I really can’t complain.
The Cradle Hip Belt is an absolute game changer, the bladder worked perfectly, and both will be going right back on my pack for my next hunt. Worth every penny.

I have the original mainframe and the belt was definitely lacking in comfort and support. I purchased the new cradle hip belt and it has made a huge difference in comfort. This belt was just what I needed to make an already great pack even better.
Replaced the hip belt on my Team Elk V2 pack with this one. Took an already good pack to great! Hiked many miles with this set up on a recent elk hunt and was comfortable the whole time.

I had the original mainframe hip belt, this is a big upgrade. Longer, wider, and more padding. It is also a bit more rigid of a material. Comfortable, but much more supportive than the original. Great upgrade if you are looking to improve the comfort under heavy load.

I bought this for my Freefall for my day hikes with gear. Another customer said "like being hugged by a cloud". Yeah, that sums up the comfort pretty well. What I like about this over the standard/Freefall belt is the stiffer outer "shell" that prevents sagging, plus the mesh helps. I live in the desert and airflow matters. BTW, the Freefall tunnel leaves about an inch of up/down adjustment so you can sit this where it feels best.
Needed something better for my Main Frame I. The original standard belt was quite thin (little padding) and I would avoid using the pack due to lack of the finally included forward-pull feature for cinching the belt tight on my skinny hips. Thanks E-Stock, finally.
Purchased for my Brute scout backpack, swapped it into my FreeFall. It fits the FreeFall and allows me to run molle pouches i already own. Take note: this is thick and comfy- medium bulky. It is a definite upgrade over any military waist belt like an alice or molle bag. Would definitely recommend.
This Cradel hip belt is a huge improvement from the original. I have had my Mainframe for probably 15 years or more. My biggest complaint was the hip belt. I was always pulling on it to get it tight. It would not stay locked in. This new belt pulls forward for easy use and locks into place perfect all day. Have used it for scouting and shed hunts so far. Hope to put it to the real test this season on our Coues and Elk hunts. It also wraps farther around your hips and mid section and locks into you hips way better. I will order the upgraded ladder harness when they are back in stock.

Fits great and is easy to install on the modframe. No movement with the new belt on. I’m 6’5” so fitting a pack to me takes some extra work. It makes it easier to grab into the hip pouch and Nalgene if the hip belt is a little larger.

As good as the original hip belt on the F1 Mainframe is, the cradle hip belt is a huge upgrade. I can’t wait to try it out (tomorrow).

Nothing against the original padded belt but this new belt is absolutely outstanding.
Easy to install and causes the pack to ride on the hips without hot spots or friction that I can tell.
The big test will be packing elk quarters this fall but I’m now really looking forward to backpacking with the mainframe with my vapor pack this spring.
Reasonable price also.
Selling these in camo patterns would be a plus but I’m good with the green.

Does the stabilized cradle hip belt work for the brute scout?
You will want the non-stabilized version of the Cradle hip belt for the Brute Scout.
The mission frame hip belt can definitely be removed without damaging it as designed, if it needs another strap to reach the connection points that would be understandable are you sure it can't be switched out for the cradle hip belt
We are definitely sure that this belt will not work on the Mission frame since there is not a sleeve for the Cradle to run through on the frame. As of now, there no way to change the Mission frame straps or hip belt.
Would this be a good upgrade for the mission frame and mission ruck?
Unfortunately, the hip belt on the Mission frame cannot be changed or removed. This hip belt will fit on our other mission bags like the Spectre or the Freefall aswell as the Hunt packs like the Modframe or Mainframe.
What is the difference between the two styles? For the Brute Scout pack, which one is more suitable? Also, will it be available in black in the future?
For the Brute scout you will want the non-stabilized version. The stabilized version is simply for the load bearing frames and packs with stabilizer buckles at the bottom.

Yes, it is! Just make sure to purchase the non-stabilized version so you don't have extra, unused straps.

The Cradle will fit on the Brute Scout. But the Standard hip belt may be more suited for that size of pack.
The Cradle Hip Belt will fit the Brute Scout. You can add the Cradle Hip Belt to the Brute Scout to improve the weight distribution and load balance of the pack. The Cradle Hip Belt will place the weight of the pack on your hips, which will increase your endurance when side-hilling a mountain or hiking up elevation.
Would this be an upgrade for the Hi Speed II pack?
This would absolutely be an upgrade. It is not only thicker but also wider. Just make sure you go with the non-stabilized version so you aren't left with extra straps dangling from the hip belt.

Yes, it absolutely is and would be a great upgrade! Just make sure you buy the non-stabilized version.
Does the cradle hip belt have the same added cushion as the aftermarket hip belt you sell? I have the aftermarket padded hip belt, but it is constantly needing to be re-adjusted. Will the cradle hip belt fix that? I am constantly have to re-adjust the aftermarket hip belt I bought because it keeps sliding down with moderate loads. Please advise and do you have a video for the cradle hip belt?
The Cradle is now our best and most padded hip belt we offer.
My review presently is that I’ve operated with Eberlestock for some time now. I plan to compete in Eberlestock. A great friend just passed (retired Seal Chief Rob Roy)… with me having the honor of creating a mentorship / leadership foundation in his name. I love Eberlestock so much that I hope to be in contact with your office at some point to talk about partnerships.

I ordered a belt that I would hope fit the last pack I purchased from y’all. The item page listed 2 or more packs it was incompatible with.
Mine needed to be on there as while I’m a fan of the modularity - the hip belt that accompanies the pack is very small and thin. I need robustness.
So I sent an email to customer service that had not been answered. I sent it when the belt arrived. No one responded. I’m guessing this may go unanswered as well. If not - I have a question and request that I asked that I will resubmit if someone over there responds.
