Purchased for my Brute scout backpack, swapped it into my FreeFall. It fits the FreeFall and allows me to run molle pouches i already own. Take note: this is thick and comfy- medium bulky. It is a definite upgrade over any military waist belt like an alice or molle bag. Would definitely recommend.

This Cradel hip belt is a huge improvement from the original. I have had my Mainframe for probably 15 years or more. My biggest complaint was the hip belt. I was always pulling on it to get it tight. It would not stay locked in. This new belt pulls forward for easy use and locks into place perfect all day. Have used it for scouting and shed hunts so far. Hope to put it to the real test this season on our Coues and Elk hunts. It also wraps farther around your hips and mid section and locks into you hips way better. I will order the upgraded ladder harness when they are back in stock.

Fits great and is easy to install on the modframe. No movement with the new belt on. I’m 6’5” so fitting a pack to me takes some extra work. It makes it easier to grab into the hip pouch and Nalgene if the hip belt is a little larger.

As good as the original hip belt on the F1 Mainframe is, the cradle hip belt is a huge upgrade. I can’t wait to try it out (tomorrow).

What a difference!
Nothing against the original padded belt but this new belt is absolutely outstanding.
Easy to install and causes the pack to ride on the hips without hot spots or friction that I can tell.
The big test will be packing elk quarters this fall but I’m now really looking forward to backpacking with the mainframe with my vapor pack this spring.
Reasonable price also.
Selling these in camo patterns would be a plus but I’m good with the green.
