Really like this new X1Euro that I have just gotten. I haven't been able to take it out yet but with the features on this bad boy., I'm sure I'm going to love it !! After running and EMOD for several years, I decided I wanted something a little lighter for predator hunting. I prefer to be hands-free so I needed a pack large enough to hold my electronic call and whatever else was coming with and also hold a tripod for night hunting and rifle carry as well. The pack comfortably carries everything and with the rifle centered in my back it makes the long hikes busting snow, drifts, and climbing up and down Buttes much easier. I did have to add a strap to secure my tripod. While optics tripods probably fit just fine and do not lean away from the pack taller thicker legs from a rifle tripod will very likely need to be strapped down besides just sitting in the pocket itself. It’s not a big deal, and I expected that. Depending on which rifle I am running sometimes I just slap the tripod on the outside center of the pack and secure it with the straps that are already there. At any rate, if you are looking for a pack for predator hunting to carry all of your stuff. This is the best one that I have ran. Adding some pouches to the waist belt will help with organizing extra ammo, your remote or rangefinder, etc. It is well built and comfortable and light enough to definitely be worth it to be able to be hands-free.

I purchased myself this pack at the end of last season, finally using it the start of this season it was AWESOME. Hiking up the steep hills comfortably and with both hands free and my gun safe in y pack was great. After hearing my daughter and I talk about them my husband tried mine and was instantly sold! I purchased him one too, the straps have a simple adjustment and it can literally fit anyone. I got him the camo and I chose the Green as my daughter has the brown in the smaller style (which is also awesome). My only caution with the green pack s the texture of the material, it is suede like and things stick to it... Dry grass and duff specifically and does not just dust off. Minor issue though.

Great pack! I use it as a 3 day rig and have been very impressed with the materials and craftsmanship. Definitely a fan of the system approach with accessories made for it.

One of the best features of the Euro are the straps, I had total reverse shoulder replacement last year and straps have been stupid hard to accommodate for this…until now!

I've been eyeing the X1 Euro for purchase for a number of years. I already own a Skycrane, so I appreciate the quality of Eberlestock bags. While the "Fade" series is nice, and I considered the purchase of the Adapt bag, I honestly think it still falls short in keeping a low-profile. For those who actually served in a combat MOS, or LE in some capacity, you instinctually recognize threats and other "alphas" - and this is why Delta operators and other Spec Op personnel receive wavers to forego shaving and grow their hair out. Don't get me wrong, the Fade products are nice (I did buy a Fade Flex), but for a lower profile I chose the Euro and it meets MY needs as a GHB. The bag is nice, well made, and doesn't scream "operator". My purchase experience shows me that Eberlestock actually cares about its customers, unlike a lot of interactions with companies I have had as of late. My only suggestion is to upgrade it to accomodate the modularity and customization of the newer bags with the velcro. Oh, and as a side note to Eberlestock, my wife thinks you should add colors/patterns for the ladies out there - she really likes your bags (she loves my Fade Flex, but not in ODG), just not the color offerings.
