Absolutely love this pack! I also have the operator g4 and both packs are built to last and they are the most common mission ready packs I've ever tried.

My range gear lives here!

I had a pack for two years that wasn't cutting it. Every time I went to the range I was bringing my shooting pack AND a tote with the other half of my stuff. Then I re-watched a video with a top PRS shooter who kept everything in his pack, year round. In the comments I saw he was using the FAC Track. The more I researched it, the more obvious it was that this is a great pack for me since I elk hunt once a year but go to the range at least a dozen times between hunts, and I try to compete in at least one NRL match as well. I've now hiked with it a half dozen times near my home in Colorado. I bought the small pouch for a belt pocket. All my gear fits in this pack and is well- organized and accessible. That includes my ammo and magazines in one outside pocket, my admin papers and pens and pads in another, and soft goods in the lid. In the main compartment I have my positional bags, binos and harness, top belt with mag holsters, ear-pro, food, water, some medicine, and then discard clothes as the day goes on. (I also keep my bi-pod wrapped and in one of the long inside pockets when it's not on my rifle.) Because of the big barn-door opening I can see all this stuff, and remove and replace it multiple times during the day without ever having to have a yard sale... which I constantly did with my previous pack that really only had a useable top lid and a half-baked side access. All that and I still have big belt pockets that I added and can stow a tripod on one side of the pack and carry a rifle on the other. I have carried 30 pounds of my range stuff on two, 4 mile, out-and-back hikes with a 1,500 foot incline. I've also carried less weight on a number of hikes to break the bag in for elk season. This pack has a nice yoke, an extra wide hip belt, and a huge lumbar pad to circulate air and transfer weight to the hips and legs. It is much better designed for hauling than what I was using before and it has a superior pull-to-tighten strap on the belt. I won't say I enjoy hauling 30+ pounds up mountain sides in my 60s, but this thing carries weight better than my backpacking pack that I've used for over ten years. (There are youtubes with people actually running with it fully loaded out.) I can also use this pack as a rear rest for the butt of my rifle when hunting and use my crossed trekking poles as a front rest. This is something I've done for the last 5 years and it saves hauling a tripod in the mountains. Finally, it looks great. I hate to admit it but that matters to me. The detail in design and build is not emphasized enough on the website, but this is a burly, beautiful, well-crafted piece of kit and I really appreciate that it must have been made by someone who both shoots regularly and hunts, not just one or the other. Thanks Eberlestock! I don't know how long you've made this pack, but you need to keep making it. If you are still reading this and you try to pull the trigger on an elk once and year and go to the range in all the months that are not November, I highly recommend this pack!

Awesome

The FAC Track is awesome it’s very adjustable and comfortable. The lumbar pad is very generous and sits in the perfect spot on my back. I loaded it down a full rappel set up and 150’ of rope along with some other things and didn’t even notice. The layout of the zippers is very convenient for accessing different parts of the pack. The MOLLE on the inside is very hand for running slings and Prusik cords through as well as carabiners. All in all I love this thing and would recommend it to anyone for almost anything.

Almost

For how expensive the pack is you would think they would at least get the color right. I order military green but received what appears to be coyote brown. If this is their version of military green it’s not what I had in mind. Not a big deal but not exactly what I wanted. The pack sits very high on the back, making it difficult to look up while in the prone position, even with the straps at the highest setting. As convenient as it is for hiking, the height of the pack means it’s not the most maneuverable. I think it would be better to have the option to drop the pack a little lower. It is a high quality pack but is it worth the price tag of $400? I would say probably not unless you are looking for something specifically like this, you could go with a pack that’s equal to or greater quality for half the price. I have not yet confirmed however, the pack size according to Eberlestock seems inaccurate. The Eberlestock website says the pack is 2100 c.i. or 34L. However the main compartment has to be at least 40L not including the outer pouches. Pack seems sturdy but with a weight of 6lbs that is to be expected. Mostly satisfied but not a perfect pack by any means.

AWESOME PACK

I LOVE THIS PACK !!! I love the organizational capabilities of this pack . I have quite a few products from Eberlestock. They all fit good , but for whatever reason, this FACtrac is especially comfortable. I use this pack for hikes when I need to carry more stuff than a normal Summer day hike . During Winter I carry more clothes and a pair of snowshoes straps perfectly on the back . I give this pack a 4.5 . I REALLY WANT TO GIVE THIS PACK A 5, but I have 2 complaints . 1) the side water reservoir holders are really tight trying to get one of Eberlestock’s 2 litter bladders into . Awesome idea for the outside bladder holders , but why not just a little bigger ?
2) organizational pockets inside the lower outside pocket are too tight . A little fold/ expansion material on each pocket , making them slightly baggier would solve this . As it is trying to use all the pockets at once is a challenge. This problem is not specific only to this pack , but seems most pack manufacturers do this same thing . I’ve always been confused by this . I am packing the FACtrac right now for another outing in the Sierras this weekend! I am a very critical and discerning customer. Once again - LOVE THIS PACK ! Eberlestock customer service made sure I got my order quickly when I explained that I was leaving for the mountains in a few days and really wanted to try my new pack .

Love it

I bought this for a rugged daily/weekend use pack for general use. The size is perfect, not too big, and scalable by adding accessories. The built in sleeves for hydration bladders do rob some of the space in the main compartment, so I added the saddle bags for bladders. Pics are the FAC Track with saddle bags, 2L accessory pouches on front and hip. This will work great for weekend hiking, as a carry on for flights (without accessories), or just daily general use. Love it!

FAC TRAC radio pack

I am a ham radio operator that does SOTA activations and this pack works perfectly between the radio holder in the back of the bag to the extra pockets on the outside of the bag for extra equipment/ camp gear I feel like it was made for me!

A place for everything

The FAC TRACK pack is a great combination of being able to move gear comfortably and the ability to put things where you need them and put pouches both inside and outside to help with that. The zippers and the antenna sleeve are great and help with the load out . This pack is designed that makes it easy to get packed and head out whatever the weight is and quickly set up and repack and be on your way again.

Exactly What I Needed

This product came to me exactly as they described. I never heard of this company nor had any of their products before. I dropped $1,000 on a single order, which included the FAC TRACK. When I got it I was immediately impressed with the quality. I'm a combat veteran and quality of packs is something I dig. They nailed it.

FAC Track, RIGHT Pack

This pack has the needed room to pack gear for what ever outing / mission that you have in store. Has plenty of pockets and access points so you’re able to get to any gear that you need access to.
This is my third pack, that I’ve purchased, and by far the most handiest. I’d love to have received a radio pouch with the pack, but unable to see any size offered on the site. But this, in no way a sticking point. All my purchases have been great, however this has been the most useful.

Haven’t received my bag.

Purchased it at a hunt expo, to get it delivered to my house, but it never came, and I never got a tracking number for it either. It says the order was completed the same day, but I never got my bag.

Honestly an amazing sustainable rig with tons of room for modification and just has such an aesthetic look to it. My only issue is I wish there were more side straps and I wish the side straps had more length to them. I also wish it had staps on the bottom for a bedroll but like it said, still tons of room for modifications

Robust, effective, worth every dollar.

This bag is amazing for drone and camera equipment, including tripods.
Great for keeping equipment secure and organized, all without compromising quick access to equipment.
The MOLLE attachments inside, in combo with the rigid backboard is a godsend for comfortably carrying heavy, or weirdly shaped equipment over long periods of time.

Awesome pack!

I first bought the Freefall 3000 and loved it. The Fac Track blows it out of the water, in a good way! Tons of room, awesome construction, and plenty of molle to customize it however you'd like! 10 out of 10!

Awesome Pack!

This is one of many Eberlestock packs I own. This pack is great for traveling. I use it and fit most everything I need and use in place of a traditional roller carry on. The quality is second to none and is very comfortable to use, especially on overseas trips. Highly recommended!

Great quality pack.

The FAC Track is famous and reliable, build quality is excellent, suspension system is nice allowing great comfort. I love that it keeps the legacy molle attachment on the sides. The only downside to me is , for my usage I would modify the front panel adding strong rows of molle with removable front pockets, to make it more customisable with various pouches.

The Perfect PRS Pack

While the Upranger is an excellent dedicated match pack, the FAC Track is likely the best multipurpose pack for the job. Excellent separation of small items in the external pockets and I added a large pouch to the Molle inside which acts as a divider and additional space for smaller items. . Easy access for everything and plenty of storage for standard match. items. The cross strap easily holds a tripod in place. A perfect match pack that does double duty on the mountain as a day pack.

FAC TRACK DOES IT ALL

I use the Fac Track for my HF Radio Set (Yeasu FT-891 or FTX-1) for over-night SOTA activations. It packs all I need for my portable/SOTA/POTA comms set up and the essentials and necessary equipment for a comfortable and secure camp. I have been "eyeballing" this pack for sometime and finally pulled the trigger. Love it. Longtime, multi-pack owner of Eberlestock gear. Customer for life.

Fantastic bag

Bought this bag to double as a hunting bag and for going to the field for up to a week. I have already taken it hunting twice and it performs great. It is very roomy and the straps are all in the right places for compressing it. I am very happy with my purchase.
