Mission Ruck is our newest high-capacity pack, built to pair with the Mission EMOD Frame. It provides a multi-day solution for professionals who need the flexibility of a fully customizable system and the ability to carry larger loads during operations. It's the largest pack in the Mission EMOD series, offering 4800 cubic inches of storage capacity and weighing 3.5lbs, keeping you light while still providing exceptional durability.

Designed exclusively for the Mission EMOD Frame, Mission Ruck is a scalable modular system that adapts to fit your specific mission needs. It can be compressed for quick urban missions, or paired with the Mission ARC and Mission Zipper Extensions to carry a precision rifle for multi-day operations.

Mission Ruck comes with a removable lid that attaches to the ruck with two heavy-duty gatekeepers. There are MOLLE attachment points on top of the lid, and a large easily accessible zippered pocket built to store sensitive items, wet weather gear, or MREs. Removing the lid is a fast and efficient way to drop weight and change your setup to fit your specific op.

Mission Ruck features dual access to the main compartment – either through the large U-shaped zipper pocket or through an integrated weather-resistant roll-top. At the top of the ruck, an antenna zipper passthrough allows routing for cables or hydration systems. On the front, multiple general-purpose pouches can store small items, such as tourniquets, snacks, or emergency supplies. On the sides, two water bottle pockets and compression straps provide storage for hydration, tripods, or breaching tools.

At the bottom of the ruck, there is a separate sleep system compartment, partitioned off from the main section by a draw-string diaphragm. This lets you isolate gear or adjust accessible pack volume as needed. Inside the main internal section of Mission Ruck is a laser-cut MOLLE panel for communications equipment, and a large mesh pocket for quick-access items.

Mission Ruck is built with rugged materials to withstand the demands of a duty-driven lifestyle. Constructed from abrasion-resistant 500D nylon, it holds up to rough-handling across unforgiving terrain like rock and gravel. Heavy-duty buckles and YKK® zippers ensure reliable performance under heavy loads, giving you confidence that your gear is going to last and it’s not going to break down when you need it the most.

容量足夠,材質也相當完美

有個缺點就是只有包體,背負系統要再添購,為何商品不是一個完整的背包!?

Best Ruck I’ve Ever Used.

Wow, let me start by saying that I’ve done a significant amount of miles inside and outside of the uniform with framed rucksacks. I have never been able to set up a ruck that was truly comfortable, there always some kind of compromise had to be made. This system though? Incredible, as soon as I had the full system, I packed and prepped a 30k trek through the Southern Arizona Canyons, this pack disappeared on my back with 45 lbs wet weight. My back feels great next day, my legs are healthy and I have no blisters, no sores, no complaints! The price tag is steep, this is not cheap my any means. But the quality of this rucksack is light years beyond anything I’ve tested before, a perfect blend of classic and modern elements in a robust system that just makes sense.

If you’re hesitating on whether to invest in the mission ruck, let this be your sign to just order one. Thank me later.

Ready to get some!

I am glad I got this one and not Mission Assault Pack. The reason is the larger size, and I think it gives you more options. I have it added with ARC to carry my semi-heavy .338, so I can reach out and touch someone or something. The pack is nicely built. I mean, you guys are the best out there. You pay for it, but when it comes to gear, always get the best. I really like how the bottom is divided to carry sleepwear or whatever you want.

Mission Ruck

Great upgrade to the mission assault pack. Big on the inside, fits everything I need and then some. Comes with its own lid so if you are upgrading from the full kit, you’re going to have an extra lid on hand afterwards. Buckles for the lid are permanently attached, so if you have the load panel they will be on there just as extra.

Way more space than my issues gear, and only 3 liters less than the molle 2k, way better for organizing gear and quick access pouches that make sense, does require the mission frame to use

Great Bag

So I own multiple different bags from Eberlestock, all for different setups/scenarios but this one paired with the emod and arc system have given me an all in 1. While my other bags are still outfitted, this one has taken the place as my go to all around Hunt/Ruck/Range/etc bag. Plenty of space and pocket organization allows you to build this bag for whatever your aiming for. It also pairs great with my RR Valkarian and Crye plate carriers. Hold weight well without it bouncing around

Well thought out ruck

Ive been holding of on buying a ruck from Eberlestock for too long. This one came out and I knew it was time. It definitely wasnt a mistake. This ruck is really well thought out. And I love that it is part of the EMOD modularity. Used it this past weekend for drill and it was incredibley comfortable. Not only does it zip into the frame, but there are tabs that work with the PALS on the frame and removes any slack. And im sure the PALS tabs can be undone to fit a scabbard. Well done guys. This thing is solid!

Best Ruck for a Recon Marine

I have used multiple rucks in my career. I have used the Tactical tailor Malice, the China made Alice, Elberstock Skycrane, the USMC ILBE, Ordinance Tactical custom made, and Mystery ranch Mountain Ruck. I like some more than others but this is the most refined pack, easiest to use and most efficient ruck I have ever used. I have spent way too much money on gear but this is by far the best. This system is well thought out and real. Elberstock is leading the competition in their innovation.

BOTTOM LINE. By this ruck, skip all the rest. The modular system actually works.

Mission Ruck and EMOD Frame

First off, I love this ruck. It’s way more comfortable and durable than the MOLLE 4K or 2K, and it lets me pack a lot more than my 4K ever could for missions, FTXs, or 3-day events. I won’t knock the 2K too much, though, I do like how the top can expand or collapse depending on your needs, so you can run it for anything from a 3-day mission to a week-long setup and STILL have space to spare for whatever I need, currently max weight I've ran the ruck at is 75ibs, all I've needed for now.

It’s also really easy to figure out and use. Adding sustainment pouches gives you even more space, which is a big plus. And having a dedicated bottom compartment for the MSS is awesome as hell, it saves me from digging through the entire ruck like I had to with the 4K, especially when the zippers were obstructed or broken on the bottom.

That said, there are a couple of issues. The frame tends to hang a bit low at first if the waist belt isn’t adjusted properly, it can sit below the belt on the EMOD frame and rub against my tailbone. I’m planning to adjust and test that more. I’ve also noticed some rubbing and hot spots on my mid-back from the frame, especially the OCP fabric section. If I’m just wearing a shirt, it can get pretty uncomfortable, so I’ve had to wear a thicker layer like a hoodie or jacket to not have that happen, which, I understand, it's a mission ruck.

Overall though, I’m really glad Eberlestock released this ruck, especially since it dropped just a few days before I bought it. I’m definitely happier with it.

Edit: Adding a secondary review as I've put way more miles on the product. Most recently with a Norwegian Ruck and wow, since buying, I have added more weight up to 80ibs for training and SFRE Prep and fixed a few issues by making the belt even tighter, like you would for a MOLLE 4K Adjustment ect, so it doesn't let the bar smash against my tailbone. After the Norwegian Ruck March and after about 20 miles, all including walking there, the ruck than back, it felt amazing, I felt like I had NO weight on my back and flew through it easy.

Great bag, extremely well made, tons of room for all the stuff I need! Exited to get the frame in and test it all out!

M
Marc

Haven't brought it out yet, but it's huge, seems rugged, has a nice set of pockets and plenty of openings to get to the main compartment. Also seamlessly works with all the other attachments

Super versatile

is it possible to mount either generation of the batwings onto the mission ruck?

Eberlestock

You could weave the compression straps through the back of the Batwing on either side of the Ruck. You will still need a frame to connect it all.

C
Chris

Hey guys, I’m looking for a pack system that can pull double duty for both military use and backcountry hunting, and I’ve been looking at the Mission EMOD frame with the Mission Ruck.

Do you feel the Mission EMOD setup is capable enough to replace a dedicated hunting pack like the Brute 6500 for multi-day hunts and hauling meat?

Also, can Hunt EMOD bags and accessories be attached to the Mission EMOD frame, or are the two systems not compatible?

I’m hoping to build one setup that can handle both military and hunting use instead of buying two separate packs.

Thanks!

Eberlestock

Unfortunately the two lines are not compatible. We DO NOT recommend the Mission frame for hunting as it is meant for plate carrier usage. For your predicament I would go with a Mainframe 2 and a hunting bag. It will offer almost the same functionality for Mil usage but will be much more functional for hunting.

Justyn C.

Will the wings attach to this pack while connected to the emod?

Eberlestock

Yes

M
Martin d.

Will the Mission ruck zip to my F1 mainframe with it's batwings ?

Eberlestock

No, the zippers on the Mission EMOD are not compatible with the Hunt EMOD.

D
Dayson

Is the bag fully NIR compliant?

Eberlestock

Multicam colorway is but the rest are not.

J
Jeremy

Hey there. Does this / can this properly work with the Modframe? Thanks! :)

Eberlestock

It will buckle to the Modframe but it will not zip.

T
Todd

Does this come with everything I need to use it, or would I have to buy a frame separately?

Eberlestock

You would need to buy the Mission Frame separately.

G
Gail

will the mission ruck pack zip to my mainframe 2

Eberlestock

It will buckle, but the zippers are not compatable.

K
Kevin

Does this function stand alone assault pack style, with shoulder straps, or strictly with the emod frame? Can it function with other earlier systems, such as the Warhammer? Thank you

Eberlestock

It does not have straps like the Assualt pack does. It needs the Mission frame to function. It will not integrate into the Warhammer.

Z
Zac

Will this also attach to the mod frame?

Eberlestock

It will buckle, but it will NOT zip.
