PRO's = Like the straps for the Bando bag as it will allow extension to fit me properly.
CON's = Extension strap excess, flops loosely and nothing to tuck it into. Something to tuck in the excess strap to keep it neat and out of the way would be nice. See the rest of the story.
Needed something for EDC & storage. I selected the Bando Bag, Fade Sling & Fade Flex during the last sale. However the Bando bag is NEVER in stock from Eberlestock when I look for the Military Green color in XL. I did find all 3 at the sale price on Amazon during their last sale. I however couldn't find the Bando bag extension straps there. I had to directly order from Eberlestock the extension straps and restricted to just 2 of them max. I went ahead and ordered 2 straps, because the cost of shipping was more than 1 strap alone. They then wanted to charge me another fee for "Package protection & Free Returns", NOT. One strap was enough to get the fit correct on the Bando bag. I have a second that I could use if needed now or if one breaks. FYI their buckle system is different on the bags, as far as the Fade bags go. Might have keep one of them had the strap fit them but it will not. The choice is up to you, however understand that the Bando bag can be extended and others can't with these straps. Had I chosen to return the Bando bag I still would be out money due to the strap purchase and fees from Eberlestock for shipping & "Package protection & Free Returns", to some degree. Due to fit issues and my needs I returned both Fade Sling & Flex. I plan to stick with my 5.11 military style bags now instead of a more conventional looking bag.

Great products. I ordered the extension strap to a matching standard bando fanny pack as they were out of stock on the black extension strap. So when you order on there website a Bando fanny pack it doesn’t come with the extension strap. I had to order that separate. I like it so much I ordered the xl Bando Fanny pack on Amazon as they were on sale and to my surprise it came with the extension strap attached to it already. If your listening Eberlestock, the strap if in stock should come with the fanny pack if ordered on your website like it did on Amazon. Reason why I deducted a star.

This was exactly what I needed to make my bag cross body!

Did as advertised but wish it was a bit more precision fit so it didn’t make any noise when rattled. Fits perfect, just the slightest bit loose so it’s not a firm fit.

Not sure that it needed to be adjustable as the bag's original strap is, but it's probably an easier adjustment to make.

The extension strap is very helpful for wearing the bando bag cross-body. It is otherwise a bit snug, especially when wearing layers. The extension strap eliminates that worry.

Got this for the option of cross body carry bit to be honest the normal waist belt works fine.

The straps would be improved if they had the velcro wrap-arounds to dress the loose end.

Good accessory, lets me convert the waste pack into a Crossbody pack without having to loosen and adjust the waist strap. Either it wasn’t clear in the description of the Bando or I just missed it, but my Bando bag shipped with this extender. So now I have two. For the price not a big deal but I guess there’s no need to order this strap if you’re ordering the Bando for the first time.

Perfect size. Plenty of room for everything i want to carry, and comes with a belt extension if you wanted to use it as a shoulder bag.

First I’m a larger guy and I bought the flex fade. It doesn’t really work as a sling bag for me so I bought these extensions to make flex fade fit me better. These extensions will not for the flex fade so I don’t have a use for them. However, the appear well made and sturdy. Hopefully extensions for the flex fade are in the works.

This strap is great! It allows me to convert my fanny Bango XL to a sling pack when traveling. Very good addition to the Bango XL bag.

I am not sure I will use it...it makes wearing the bag as a sling a bit uncomfortable for me and it does not hold the length very well. I found it to slip pretty easily...if I use it I may have to find a way to secure it. I would recommend trying the bag without it as it may work for you. If not, order the extension.
