Never Again

The problem was Order Fulfillment. My Credit Card was charged as soon as I clicked “Buy”, however the order was not transmitted to the Spotify drop shipper for an entire week. This is not competitive. I will be returning to Mystery Ranch, 5.11 Tactical, GoRuck, Stone Glacier, KUIU and Kifaru.

Comfortable. Warm. But not too warm. Easily removed without disrobing.

Best long John’s

I use these with a mesh base layer and this makes for the absolute best thermals I’ve ever worn. Keeps me warm and dry even when post holing up steep hills while scouting.

Great product, as described!

Well, first off, the quality is there as with all product i gave ever owned from eberlestock! Shipped promptly, product itself is just what i was looking for. Not necessarily the ‘just below knee style’, but the mid-weight. My light weight long johns (also Eberlestock) were just not cutting it for 0-20° F nights.

Good Stuff

Excellent fit, feel & function. Better fit than the GoHunt zip offs.

Great base layers! Comfortable, convenient, and warm.

I hate long john bottoms since they're a pain to get off if you're outside and have boots on. These make it a breeze to get on and off and they add a nice bit of insulation

Lochsa Merino Wool Base Layer

I wore my new base layer for the first time during our whitetail outing this past weekend. The top and bottom were outstanding, stayed very warm in my blind, zipper on the legs were very convenient with my knee high socks, and the hoodie was very nice in the frigid temps. Great set and value!!! 10 out of 10.

Lochsa 3/4 Merino Zip; Great Choice!

I am 6’5”, 275lbs with a size 38 waist and 36 normal pant length. The XXL fits perfectly and has been warm, dry, and comfortable. I would consider these to be about the same in warmth rating to the First Lite Furnace Long John, but with more mobility and comfort. I ordered 2 pair and they have been great!

Versatile Base Layer

Comfortable, practical, well built. I recommend!

Super comfy and they make getting on and off a breeze. I hardly wear normal base layer bottoms because they're a pain to get on and off in the field. These are a good, warm weight, too.

My new favorite piece of hunting clothing!

The 3/4” zip off merinos are perfect for my style of hunting. I hunt in East Texas where it’s too hot most of the season for anything insulated. These merinos plus a pair of lightweight pants are perfect for our “cold” days when the mornings start in the 40s or 50s, then reach mid 60s or 70s by noon. Shot a nice buck this weekend and really appreciated being able to easily remove these for the half mile drag back to the truck.

Great quality but I'm not sure about the zippers.

The base layer is great. Very comfortable and as warm as I expected from a merino wool product. The zippers on the side kinda threw me. I did not look close enough when I bought them so seeing the zippers on the side of both legs was a surprise. Not sure how I feel about them yet as I have not been snowboarding, cross-country skiing or dirt biking in them yet. They are great so far while wearing them under work pants. I like the 3/4 length so it does not interfere with long socks and/or tall boots. The adjustable waste band is very streamline and easy to use. This is a very good feature.

Won’t go back to regular Merino pants

Love the ability to take them off or put them on in the field. Great build quality and insulation value.

Very Convenient

Extremely convenient put on or take off without having to take off your boots. I was concerned the side zipper would make these uncomfortable, but they have proven to be very comfortable. Great fit, wore them under my Camas pants making a great combination in the high 30's.

Great base

I dig these so much. So glad I decided to buy them as they are more than I expected. Easy to use, fit is spot on and the Velcro closure is well done. I would buy them again!

My new 3/4 merino underlayer

Absolutely love them. They will wear perfectly under the new attack pants i purchased, also under my ski pants. As a disabled amputee army veteran I really appreciate the full side zip. They allow me too put them on without having to remove my prosthetic leg. Any thing that makes life easier is nice. Can't wait to try them out this fall hunting and this winter skiing at the various disabled veteran hunt and ski camps i attend. Will highly recommend them to my fellow veterans. Thank you again.

3/4 merino pants

Loving the zip on thermals, nice for hiking in to your vantage point and then donning so that you don’t drop temp once you’re sitting. The fact that you can make this adjustment without taking your boots off is a big win, would’ve been nice if they went a little thinner on the waistband but that is my only minor bone to pick. Solid bit of kit.

Great for military

It's nice that they don't ho all the way into my boots and I can drop my pants and just put them on without taking my boots off.
