I'm a conflict photographer, and added this to my Eberlestock Little Brother pack. This internal frame slides right into the zippered pouch that is normally used for a rifle case. It radically stabilizes the pack, provides outstanding back support, and only adds 10 ounces to the pack! I live out of my Little Brother pack when on assignment to the soup sandwich, and this internal frame is like having a little piece of Heaven on your back! Highly recommend!

This is a must have if you want to add rigidity to a soft / framless backpack.

Fits the Eberlestock Transformer and keeps my stuff from gouging me in the back.

Fit and functions very good snug which is good cause you don’t want it moving around when it’s on your back. I was still able to use the gun scabbard, even though the back plate has a contour to it good for a smaller shotgun or a smaller rifle a larger rifle would probably fit very snug. Be difficult to get it in and out, but everything I have purchased so far is a very good quality and will probably last me the rest of my life. Everly Stock equipment is the best.

Purchased an AG2L to go with my Little Brother pack, this frame definitely makes the bag easier to shoulder. I find it creates pressure across my shoulder blades, though I think it's slight enough to be tolerable when carrying the pack. The curve in the frame is perfect for the rounding of your back when bending over, and the pack absolutely distributes load better when the bag's not behaving like a WWII duffle.

Giving it 4 stars because I believe it should have came with the pack and not be a side purchase.

Order A G1 Litlle Brother and was a little let down with the stiffness of the bag. Ordered this bad boy and let me tell you……. Game changer!!!! Slides right into the scabbard section of the bad and POOF…. A whole new bag. Distributes the weight perfectly. Make sure you get the LONG for the little brother!!!!

I ordered the G1 little brother as part of a larger Warhammer + G1 ruck system and I find that when I pull the G1 out of the Warhammer the G1 on its own was very uncomfortable due to a lack of any frame. A fellow Eberlestock fan mentioned this frame, so I added it to the G1 and WOW what a difference. The lumbar contour form fits to my slightly smaller than average frame just fine. It is also very light, and was unnoticed from a weight perspective after adding it to the pack. The one downside is the frame takes up the scabbard channel but to Eberlestocks credit, I don't think the addition of the frame would keep you from adding in a scabbard. It's priced right, does what it needs to do, & doesn't really sacrifice anything for what you gain.

I bought a used British PLCE Long-Back ruck that came with no frame. The Gossamer G-Type AG2L-Long fits the ruck perfectly! The PLCE belt sits higher than a lot of American-made packs I've worm (ALICE, ILBE, Mystery Ranch) and the Gossamer makes the load really easy. it holds strong around the higher belt, and flexes a lot of the pack away from the back to create some airflow. Longest hike so far was six miles with eighty pounds, and the Gossamer was perfect.

I purchased this for a different brand of hiking pack. Works great! As long as you measure the width and it fits, you can trim the length/round the corners with a sander to make it work. Great design!

This frame does its job, and does it well. Fairly light, and has the right balance of flex and rigidity. Very pleased with it.

Great addition brings the pack snug against your back

I bought the little brother pack about a month ago. Should have bought this frame with it. Gives more stability &structure. Well worth the money.

Fitment is great extremely light weight. It says 10oz but it feels more like 4oz. Just the right amount of torsional twist but still ridgid. Should have bought one a long time ago.

I used the large frame for a G1 little brother. Makes the bag so much more comfortable to carry when it’s loaded down heavy. Definitely recommend

Great option to stiffen G-1

Wish I bought this a long time ago. The G1 is big enough to hold a ton of weight, then removable frame is perfect.

Bought this frame for my G1 little brother pack, and it definetly makes a difference in the stability of the pack. Only downside to the frame is that if you want to integrate your g1 little brother pack with other modular systems like the J51 warhammer or the F1 mainframe, you pretty much have to take the frame out every time to get stuff to fit properly.

bought this to put in the g1 little brother and it makes a world of difference. Currently run the g1 with the mainframe with 3 outdoor research compressible dry sacks between the two. Couldnt be happier with the current set up for backpacking in michigan. Cant wait to test it out in the fall for deer season. Always impressed with eberlestock products!

I’m not the type of guy that carries a backpack daily or even more than a couple times a month for trips and hiking. if you are that type of guy that does EDC a lot of stuff and doesn’t want to stand out as much, the gossamer frame sheet is a must. Definitely makes the bag stand out a lot less with no/minimal rigidity loss. I don’t see myself putting the aluminum back in unless I’m carrying a very heavy load. Most likely I would do that in my G4 anyway. Long story short, if you don’t want the bag to stand out as much, Especially if you have the scabbard folded, I personally would get the frame sheet.

So dumb questions. I have the G4 operator pack. It came with the intex2 aluminum frame and also came with tje gossamer frame. So here is the dumb question, they are ment to be use separately correct not together at same time? In the description it says the gossamer complements the intex2. But that doesnt mean together correct?

Added this to my older generation Terminator pack. The pack suspension was curving when compressed. This frame solved the problem completely and made the pack way more comfortable when it is loaded heavy. I highly recommend it for any pack that does not already have one. I guess that is why they have switched to using it in so many of their packs.

Bought this so i can load up my G1. Arrived in a timely manner. Dropped into pack, then took the belt from my Skycrane. Perfect lighter backpack configuration. Quality as always. Highly recommend it.
