I've never encountered this type of flaw on Eberlestock gear. Stitching on standard hip belt is bad and of low quality. I would appreciate this to be corrected..

Just received today and install right away. It was hard to install but once on it aint coming.

I bought this one because it was supposed to be the one that fits my Switchblade back pack. It took over 30 minutes to get it on the pack and I thought I was going to tear out all the stitching. Also, since you don't make a gray one I got the black one because I thought it would go well. The contrast is very stark. I definitely would not recommend this product to go with the Switchblade.

Excellent fit. Much nicer adjustment than the older model hip belt.

I was really excited to get this belt for my bandit. I'd bought the bandit for a lightweight daypack that i would use often because it's very small. Turns out I can use it for hunting too so I figured I'd get a hip belt for when it's loaded with my bow and saddle kit.
There aren't enough photos of these hip belts on the website, because if I'd known how big it was, I may not have purchased it. It's roughly 5.5 inches tall and it's pretty stiff. This turned my EDC lightweight daypack into a full blown backpack. I'm sure it will be great for saddle hunting, but I will have to take the belt off for bike rides and walking around town.
I'm also a little annoyed how long the straps are, I'm roughly a size 31 waist, I have this thing almost maxed out which leaves about 20 inches of strap hanging off both sides.. One of my favorite features of the bandit is the velcro Eberlestock places on the straps so you can roll and stow them neatly, but they missed these straps..

Please make a minimal hipbelt for the smaller packs for carrying around town. You could cut the materials in half and it would make for a great pack accessory.

I bought this to use with my bandit pack on longer day hikes and so far it’s well worth the money.
