Was a little intimidated to buy the long paddled hip belt. I wear a 38 but measured around my pants with a belt on and measured in at 42.5 inches. So I took a chance it this belt fits perfectly on my Fac Track. Still have room to buckle and cinch belt tight. I've got my Eberlestock pouches on it and can now access them while rucked up. Just wished Eberlestock would make this hip belt in multicam. I'm glad I took the chance and ordered it.

I added the long padded hip belt to my F1 Mainframe and it was easy to change out from the standard one that came with the F1. Definitely nice to have the extra padding and makes the pack even more comfortable.

As a bigger guy of 6.3 260lbs it gives me more support and comfort. I just wished it came in the Mountain camo to match my backpack better

Quality of build is robust and padding is generous. Only issue for the Switchblade Pack is that it doesn't lay flat on the bag. The opening for the hipbelt is slightly smaller than the hipbelt itself. If it wasn't for that it would have been 5 stars.

Super comfortable. Have used it on 4 different hunting trips now with Mainframe and Vapor 5000 with Pack Lid. I'm a bigger guy and fit is much better than original belt...have room for adjustments which is nice considering colder weather and bulkier gear is around the corner. Definitely supports the weight I pack in with...will see how it handles packing out more weight. Another win from Eberlestock!

There has been so much attention to detail given to this belt. The fit and finish is top notch. The price was comparable to other belts of lower quality. Thank You Eberlestock

Picked up a closeout Just One Pack and also got bargain on this belt. Pack belt fit OK but this one gave a better feeling of weight transfer to the hips. Wish it had front-pull tighten feature but it’s OK. Happy with product and how simple it was to swap out the belts on my pack.

This was backordered for a long time and it became available just in time for late hunt. I really like the fit. 6'3" 240lbs size 40 waist and a couple inches of room to tighten on each side. Extra molle, cushion and length is really nice. It's really comfortable. I don't like the tightening. The original waist belt pulls from the sides forward so it tightened up nicely. This style tightens from the front, pulling back so it doesn't work as well and it's hard to get it as tight as I like on the hips to take the weight off the shoulders. Still better than the one it came with but for the price could come with the better tightening system. Wouldn't want to pack an animal out with this belt since it doesn't tighten well so it really would ride in the shoulders instead of hips.

Really like this padded belt. It fits and it is rock solid. I think the price was very fair as well.

I haven't had a chance to use it much, just installed and fitted it on my mainframe and weight tested it with over 50lb. Felt way more comfortable than the normal hip belt and actually had enough extra strap to secure. Good stuff, always happy with eberlestock.

I am glad I bought this I new I'd need the large padded hip belt for sure but I'm really glad I got this also because the little bit I've gotten to use it it's saved my shoulders so much discomfort

Really nice addition for a bigger guy. I wear a 44” waist and this really helps hold the load on my horse hips. If you are interested in more comfort for the longer days I definitely recommend.

I have wider hips and this is the only belt that I have ever found that fits right. As always with Eberlestock the quality is outstanding.

I have an Eberlestock X1 backpack I have had for many years. Reason being I just love the pack. Only drawback has been the standard hip belt. When I came across the upgrade Long Padded Hip Belt and put it on my X1 made my backpack even better than before. I wish I would have found it much sooner. I highly recommend upgrading to the Long belt if the standard just isn't quite big enough.

I am 6'6" with a 42" waste, the j34 hip belt fit fine but the ability to use the pouches, on the belt, was hindered by the size of the belt. The pouches were basically behind me. The long padded hip belt is a luxury and in my case a necessity. The belt is too long for my waste but the trade-off is that the pouches are easily accessible which makes less movement during a hunt or stalk or just hiking which makes the long padded hip belt an easy choice and a better convenience measure. Forget the discussion about quality, workmanship, etc, if you own Eberlestock, you know. No regrets but I wish this were an option on the order screen function as I purchased the padded shoulder strap in addition to the long padded hip belt. I have extra products that are not needed at this time. The setup is excellent.

I have two packs from Eberlestock the Jackhammer and the terminator and several other accessories, the long padded hip belt is a awesome accessory for the terminator helps distribute the weight more efficiently for me.

Swapped out the standard hip belt on the Team Elk to the Long Padded Hip Belt. Much more comfortable, and helps carry the weight way more than the standard. On my weekly Saturday 5 mile ruck with 50 lbs, it made a significant difference in how I felt. Just wish it came in Mountain to match the rest of the gear.

The long padded hip belt is perfect for us bigger guys! Most western outfitters to not make items for the big boy with energy to pursue big game in the mountains. Eberlestock came through for me. I have 60 miles of prep hiking with this belt on the tall F1 mainframe with Vapor 5000 and padded shoulder straps. Couldn’t be happier at this point. Hopefully, I’ll be packing out a black bear in a few months!

Gave three stars not on poor quality but poor description. Im 6-2 275 wear 42-44 waist pants. This belt is too large for me. It will not cinch down tight on me. Belt is about six inches wide It would require a really large man to wear this comfortable. The regular size belt fits me fine with room to spare. Don't assume if your waist is above 42 inches you need a larger belt try the standard one first. Like most Eberlestock products build quality looks good.

I emailed everlestock about it being the wrong size before they shipped it and wanted the smaller version but they shipped it anyway and never got as much as a respond. Now I’m stuck with a belt that doesn’t fit and out $44

Let’s face it we are not as slim as we once were but don’t mind going there and doing the things. I have put some heavy loads on my pack and this longer hip pad as helped the comfort level of an inherently uncomfortable thing. Get one it will help you do the dang thang for sure!
