Switchblade- First day out 04/20/25

It’s still a little chilly along the East slopes here in Alberta. The Switchblade performed absolutely perfectly for me. I was able to pack a small stove, food, water, first aid kit, ammo and extra layers and still had room for much more. It is so comfortable due to the many adjustments it provides. The pack is very versatile and I know it will serve me well. Like all the Erberlestock packs I now have, they are well built and can take every element and load that I put them through. The Switchblade will also be a perfect carry on in the future.

Thanks so much Erberlestock

Versatile backpack

This pack is excellent. The layout is near perfect and the ability to add additional molle packs is a huge plus. The quality of the construction and fabric durability is second to none. I am very pleased with my purchase

Pleasantly Surprised

Let me start by saying that I am a pack lover. I have tried Vanquest, Maxpedition, 5.11, North Face, Patagonia and many other name brands and not so name brands.
Let me also say I am a female teacher, so looks and weight are a thing to me.
I ordered the Switchblade in Military green, with the belief I would be sending it back as soon as I looked it over.
The color really wasn't an olive green, like I had thought, but more of a gold, brown, green, that is really nice.
Then there is the weight thing. I was using a Patagonia Refugio 30L which is fairly light. The Switchblade loaded my stuff and didn't seem to heavy to me.
Straps are good, and they have load lifters. Harness is adjustable. It has a place for patches, and thats fun.
I am pretty happy, and I am going to keep it!
If it looks tactical, who cares. The world is tactical at times.

Cobalt Switchblade

I went with the Cobalt Blue for a better blend in urban environments. The bag is top-notch quality with plenty of pouches and compartments to isolate and stow items. It is small enough to meet most international overhead bin restrictions, yet large enough to carry quite a bit. I like the adjustable shoulder harness to accomodate varying weights for comfortable carry.

Awesome Bag

I brought this bag to use to pack my camera gear and work computers for day hikes and work. Looking at the versatile features and ability to fit and protect my camera gear this bag meets my expectations. This bag is still in develop mode, but it works great so far. I include it with the Recon Bino pack and done
a short hike. The Eberlestock gear is durable and vesatile and meets all my expectations.
