Functional warmth!

The Payette down pant are my favorite “puffy” insulation for the backcountry. They are super lightweight, very compressible,, amazingly warm, shed water and wind very well, but most of all — they’re tough and have belt loops! I have another pair of down pants but the material is extremely fragile and only has an elastic waistband, so I can’t tighten them on my son. The reinforced knees and rear end are important for the areas we visit so that feathers aren’t flying across the landscape.

These were/are way too long. The checkout process didn’t clearly tell me it was not exchangeable. Waste of money. likely won’t return to this online store or buy additional products.

I’m 6’7” tall and 245 lbs. A inch or two more on my waist than is ideal. These fit perfectly but would still be good if I lost a few lbs.

Runs small

Awesome pants. Warm and as durable a a puffy pant can be. Runs pretty small though. Due what they are I would want them a little baggy but these are fairly tight. I purposely ordered up a size too. Might say more about me than about the pants

WELL BUILT - GOOD LOOKING!

WOW What a deal! Got the Payette Down Pant on a great sale - Really good price! They Look great & are very well built, love the butt & knee reinforcement. Warm- like they have a heater in them! I'm 5'11" - 195lbs & got XL - fit is great - just a little long but that is better than short!
